A glitch allowed me to fall through the floor, landing on the foundation I got the first view of a pie with a black top hat.

I saw it too. Some silly cartoonish-toybox music is instanced there, but you can view it only from the distance and if you get too close, it dissapears.
My skyhold sometimes loads without certain parts and that made me fell under the castle.
I think that the easter egg is a mockery of the bugginess of the game, because whoever put it there knew that the bug will lead us there eventualy.
