After going thru the wiki and codex entries I realize something......the people of Anderfels are known as Anders. And in DA:A/DA2, we meet and or recruit an Anders but what is his real name? Who is he and why do I feel that there is more to his character than we know? It feels like the Anders I knew from DA:A is now a stranger, even more after DA2. I'm starting to realize that reading the books and codex entries are vital to the story and its characters as well as specializations, organizations, and different skills or spells.

I may be nuts but didn't I read somewhere that Wynne was Anders' mother?

No that was fan speculation, before the book Asunder came out. Rhys is Wynne' s son.

As I understand it he came from a ratspit little village , somewhere in Ferelden I assume . He hates the templars because they took him away from his mother , the only thing he had to remember her by was a pillow or cushion can't quite recall , which he tries to give to Varric before destroying the chantry . Maybe his dad was from the Anderfel's hence the name , well it sound's good who know's .

Actually, IIRC, Anders himself was originally from the Anderfels - giving him even more reason to despise the templars who took him to Ferelden.
