I am playing on a PC with these specs:

 

AMD FX 6300 Six Core 3.5 GHz

 

16 GB RAM

 

Windows 7 Ultimate

 

AMD Radeon R9 280 

 

Why does the game tell me to play it at high settings when I have above the specs for recommended? Anyone? Anyone at all? And, yes, I have the latest gpu updates.

I wouldn't trust the game's recommendation sometimes. Just tweak things around and stay with the one that you feel most comfortable with.

Yeah with the PC you just have to play around with settings that gets you the image quality you like with an FPS rate that you're OK with
