OK, so I just discovered that these items are dr. pepper promotional items (a bit late, I know). I got the impression that these were included in the actual game itself because they were shown during the armor customization vid. What I want to know is if these items will be available over the cerberus network. The very idea of not having access to that badass recon hood makes me RAGE at this stupidity. Enough of this ****ing bonus content, does this mean we will have even less headgear customization options???

If someone could shine some light on this, It will be appreciated muchly.
Thanks

Well unless you hate Dr. Pepper the promotion is good till December of this year so unless you can't find the bottles or live outside of the United States then I wouldn't worry about not getting the codes for the items. Then again I went to 7Eleven today and they where out of Dr. Pepper, rofl.

I live in Canada, does it make sense that these bonuses dont apply to the country where the game was made?

You don't even have to buy Dr. Pepper to get the codes. You can e-mail them once a week for a free code to use. How hard is that, really?

Promotional bs like this makes me rage. A preorder bonus is about as far as it should go. Three separate sets of preorder bonuses and Dr Pepper promotional content is too far. Anybody who thinks this is "adding content to the game" is delusional, because all this content was built long before the game went gold. They're taking content out for people who don't get them.

The idea of mutually exclusive bonuses (i.e. Digital Collectors Edition incisor rifle) is horrible. I feel like I can' t get the complete game without buying 2 copies of it.

This is the problem I suffer from, which is why I'm wondering how those of us in Europe will be getting said items. Maybe we just get if from the Network?

You have to drink 10000 dr. peppers in order to get the code now. Better start chugging.

Actually you have to physically mail a envelope to Dr. Pepper to request the free code, and they only ship to U.S. addresses so unfortunately you're sol unless you have friends or family in the U.S. willing to help you out.

I might go to the store to get some Dr. Pepper in the morning after I get the game...if they have them, I'll get some, and give a code to whoever needs one. I won't get a lot...so you know.

Anyone else actually redeem the codes for Mass Effect stuff yet? I tried but it only allows me to get crap for Battlefield heroes, spore and some other game.... keep pushing left and right on the buttons but no Mass Effect :(. Do we have to wait until the game is released?

this is bs, Bioware started out in Canada, why do Canadians get shafted out of free content?

On a lighter note, lol, i've never drunk a Dr. Pepper in my life (19.5 yrs), it's a pity this offer isn't available in Canada, 'cause this would've been a good enough excuse to try one.
