If you have 30 minutes to spare, I highly recommend calling EA's help line. I did that myself because I was so frustrated with my inability to get the Dr. Pepper DLC and they did the most amazing thing. Not only did they get me the Dr. Pepper DLC, they hooked me up with all of the DLC available!!! I now have the Collector armor and weapon, the Terminus Armor, the blood dragon armor, even the incisor sniper rifle!!!

It's a pain in the ass calling them because you will have to wait on hold for about 20 minutes before you speak to anyone (and I can't guarantee that they will do this for everyone) but I am extremely happy now. I bought the game a couple of weeks after it came out and didn't get any of the bonus DLC and now I have it all. It has really made things interesting again just when they were starting to get a bit stale. Give them a call if you get a chance.

Ok so I've downloaded my recon hood and umbar visor through cerberus network. Where do I find the items in-game? I go to the captain's cabin and went to change my armour but they don't show up on my helmet option. Help please.

EDIT: nvm, figured it out.

Oh, EA, why must you do this to us? Did you get paid well by Dr Pepper Snapple Group to have us jump through these hoops, or do you simply enjoy the spectacle?

Instead of hovering your mouse over the picture select either the Recon Hood or Umbra Visor and move the mouse cursor down to the button you click to finalize your item pick. You should be able to right click the button and select  "Copy Shortcut". Paste it in Notepad and just change Recon_Hood or Umbra_Visor with Sentry_Interface. The rest of the shortcut will have your correct Dr. Pepper ID and e-mail information. I tried to copy and edit the URL posted earlier and like you I kept getting an error message. I just downloaded the Sentry Interface so it's still up and available.

As far as my opinion over the debate about company specific DLC? I personally don't have a problem with it at all. If a company is willing to pay a developer for custom DLC content I'm all for it. It just means more goodies I can potentially get.  I got the collector's edition Collector armor and rifle, the Gamestop Terminus armor and Singularity Projector, the Cerberus Network armor and shotgun and now the Dr. Pepper headgear. Would I still like the Inferno armor and collectors edition digital download sniper rifle? Sure I would but I'm not gonna get upset about it or shake my fists and shout "KAHN!" (or "BIOWARE!" if the Star Trek joke doesn't suit you).

My brother got all bent out of shape over Fallout 3 and Bethseda  having extra content for the PC/Xbox360 and not the PS3. The way I look at it is if Sony was too cheap to spring for bonus content then shame on them for not supporting their customers. Would I like to have all the downloads and goodies for my game? Sure I would but honestly it's just fluf and eye candy. I doesn't break the game or make it any less enjoyable. It's not like I can't finish the game just because I don't have the Inferno armor and the other rifle. Heck most of the DLC I don't even wind up using. I found that I prefer using the customized N7 armor instead of the others and most of the standard ingame weapons kill bugs and mercs just as well as the downloaded ones.

no no, dont worry, I got it. just difficult, that's all.

YAY, Star Trek joke! On that subject, I LOVE the way Mordin talks like how everyone makes fun of Kirk. makes me laugh every time, but also respect him so much more.

Nocan'tnotwithVorchaVorchaguardingreactors...........must kill them. love it.

I too, like the N7 custom stuff better, though I think the Inferno gear'd be fun to wear a while.

Your little url trick didn't work for me, though I have made it rigt. :/ When I change the goodie=umbra_visor to goodie=sentry_interface i am being directed into page called http://drpepper.ea.c...ction?t=numbers

[edit] People who were getting this error - copy and paste the changed url address with sentry_interface from the OTHER WEBSITE THAN DOCTOR PEPPER! If you'll enter it from google, for example, it will work.

He means that you paste the new URL into a diferent tab or web browser, not the browser you used to get the shortcut from.

OK, so I just discovered that these items are dr. pepper promotional items (a bit late, I know). I got the impression that these were included in the actual game itself because they were shown during the armor customization vid. What I want to know is if these items will be available over the cerberus network. The very idea of not having access to that badass recon hood makes me RAGE at this stupidity. Enough of this ****ing bonus content, does this mean we will have even less headgear customization options???

If someone could shine some light on this, It will be appreciated muchly.
Thanks

Oh come on you can get the codes online for crying out loud.

These three promo items are utterly trivial and unrelated to the real gameplay of ME2.  It does not really matter whether you have them or not, and one should definitely not feel as if they deserve it if they run into trouble trying to obtain it indirectly.

Seriously, Dr. Pepper should be praised for subsidizing the godly works of Bioware that we enjoy so cheaply while our ancestors plowed fields all day long to gain the requisite purchasing power for a meal of hard bread.  Sometimes we forget how spoiled we are and how easily we convert benefactors into malefactors upon the slightest upset of our selfish desires.
