So if you rememmber who you were, pm me and i'll try to get you some codes this week!

that was a lie.

Living in the UK has its disadvantages at times :(

Yeah, totally sucks. All I want is the sentry interface, couldn't care less about the other 2.

If anyone can sends me three (3) codes so I can get all the items. I would be grateful, and if you send me your email address I will send you $10 via Paypal to cover your expenses.

Otherwise I'm going to have to get a passport to cross the border to the US...

Pre-order exclusives and bonus content are crappy. Especially when they contain the best looking headgear in the game. All I wanted in ME1 was a sweet visor thing like Garrus rocked. Now its all tied to Dr. Pepper. As much as I like to be a pepper too, I'm glad IGN and others posted the fact the M$ screwed up and offered this stuff for download before game release. Which I totally did NOT take advantage of. Also, the Visor Hood and Goggles look awesome.

Know what you mean. As everyone has already said, they made all the good armor promo only, and the other normal armor peices are lackluster, and damn there are only four casual outfits. It feels like Bioware put the armor customization out to hype the game and forgot about it a few weeks before release.

Just download them on some site.

(it's not piracy, you can get them for free by sending Drpepper a letter in real life.. sigh, which sounds easier and faster?)

I dont have the PC version. Either way, screw Snail Mail, I'm too impatient.

I would go buy some Doctor Pepper but I dont want to spend two bucks on a soda I dont like that much, only to risk getting the two other items I dont want, or worse, something for a different game. Not a gambling person, even with my petty cash. Call me cheap.

You should have bought it on the PC.

You can mod the game and use Soldier only weapons like that LMG as any other class, or use Legions Sniper rifle.

So I've heard... Well, I'm not technologically savy, I'd probably screw it up. That's why I am not a PC gamer, I dont know anything besides how to play games and how to do my job

It's not that hard, it's just editing a text file, it's not anything huge or complicated.

And you don't have to do anything complicated to be a PC gamer, just install the game and play.

Well anyways, about those codes...

On the subject of the promo armors, my friend said that Gamestop had a ton left over. I havent been able to get to Gamestop, but he got Collecters and Terminus all to himself.... The worst part is that I helped him! This is his account, I just signed up for him cuz he didnt have internet access. I want Collecters... ;_; Or a recon hood.

However, if you do download them, does that not screw over you logging into the Cerberus Network?
That's my concern.

Or, If anyone has two of the pepper codes to spare I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks,

Thanks,

There's no point in logging into Cerberus Network, it basically is just there to annoy you and tell you about DLC you (should) have already installed, if it didn't lag ME2 when launching it and didn't scream "NEW CONTENT AVALIBLE" in your face it might be worth logging into.

I understand, but how will you get new content when it does come?
Basically, if you run these .exe's and use the subsequent bypass methods, you effectively shut yourself out permanently of Cerberus no?

Like my 'legit' DLC don't work without being logged in.
This would force me to alternate methods for all new content.

Really, I don't want that. I just want the items etc I have absolutely no method of obtianing, like the Dr. Pepper codes.

I got lucky, I live in the UK but got the DLC when it was leaked. The Recon Hood makes my infiltrator complete.

I had to go to 3 different stores to get a Dr. Pepper with the codes, 1 DP at each store. It was kind of pathetic. But whatever!

No your "legit" DLC would still work, you don't have to be logged in to use DLC.

And the only way to get those items without using snail mail or buying three bottles of Drpepper is to download them.

If you download them will it screw your cerberus network or is it just ok to "double click" the exe and install?

These promotions are flipping retarted, not every player lives in the US and has access to dr pepper. Blame EA for that.

No it won't screw it up, if you're really scared of it screwing it up, you can uninstall the promo items by deleting them from the DLC folder in the ME2 install folder.

It will be released as DLC for purchase on the Xbox Live Marketplace, at some point I believe. It won't be free, but charging for it will counteract the Dr Pepper thing, it also allows it to be limited to certain area's of the world this way.

I imagine the items will be avaliable, just they are waiting a bit. Afraid Dr Pepper won't get hold over something like this forever, the drink just tastes to disgusting after all.
