RNG and lag and bad voice acting... oh my.

This multiplayer feels like Bioware heard all our feedback on ME3 MP and divided it into boxes labeled Positive and Negative, and then someone switched the labels.

Everything good about ME3 MP is gone, none of the bad things have been fixed, and the entire thing is a technical trainwreck that feels like an alpha build.

To be more specific:

1. The dialogue between characters and the voice-acting is cringeworthy. Not what I expected from Bioware at all.
2. There is persistent lag that makes your character teleport when you try to move.
3. There is no text chat and a poorly-implemented voice chat. Because of this, you can't coordinate tactics or tell each other which way you're planning to go. This is a problem because the maps have so many side areas.
4. The RNG store is back. Need I say more?

And don't even get me started on the balancing.

I've tried to like the multiplayer mode. I wanted to like the multiplayer mode. I loved ME3 MP. The main campaign of this game kicks ass.

But after several hours of hunting for something worthwhile in multiplayer, I honestly cannot describe this as anything but a complete and utter disaster.

How did we get here? The geth are Bioware is better than this.

Am I the only one who really like the voice acting and the banters between characters? Sure, it gets a little repetitive, but it's a nice change from the practically mute operatives of ME3.

The Katari and the Achemist have really funny lines, and there are comedy gold dialogues like this one:

"Alchemist: When I was on the Deep Roads, I ate a lot of mushrooms.
Arcane Warrior: That explains a lot."

I don't mind the dialogue anymore now that there is a lot more combinations of characters being used.

The frequency of the dialog just needs to be lowered.

The characters shouldn't talk over one another. It get's annoying when 1 person says something and then the other 3 characters reply at the same time.

I like it too. I love how the elementalist and Necromancer both just **** on the Beta archer all the time.

Archer: There are so many people in the world, im not used to this silence.

Elementalist: It shows.

The spammed dialogue makes me want to break stuff.

The bad acting hurts my soul.

The extremely grating, irritating voice types make me want to cut myself.

Should have let me make my own character for each class, each SILENT.

Alternatively, there is a nice selection of party members from the single player who have actual banter, decent acting and voices that are comfortable to listen to...

Also:

Don't get me wrong, the dialogue is a nice touch, but frequency and timing needs some work. Such as when only one character initiates conversation throughout a mission...and it's always the same piece of dialogue...and then no one responds. When you share stories of fighting Darkspawn in the Deep Roads for two days over the course of two missions I'm sure your teammates are going to want to kill you. ._ ."

Or when a Keeper walks up some stairs, gasps, and says their skills have never been so tested before...okay that's funny, but still-

The dialogue.
Ex #1. I've learned a lot from you all. (Game just loaded on)
Ex. #2 My skills have never been do tested in all my life. (Haven't fought an enemy yet)
Ex #3 D pad. Thanking & asking comrades to come to you is often ambiguous.
Some of the banter is mildly amusing. Archer us horrible. ME3 had little do this is def better. Remember the volus after money rounds? 'Payday!' & 'contract fulfilled.' The vorcha upon revive, 'I'm alive!'
I am glad they attempted it & added more than me3mp had.overall a missed opportunity at good RPG speak.

Talk about the cup half empty.  "Disaster?" - seriously?

As for lag, I think much of it has to do with the rig and internet setup of the hosting computer.  So if i start rubberbanding or otherwise encounter poor performance, I leave the game and avoid that particular player-host.  Perhaps some egghead here can clear up exactly how much dependence performance has on the hosting rig.

I don't mind it.  It just needs to happen less, and have other characters respond more often.

2. There is persistent lag that makes your character teleport when you try to move.

I'm pretty sure that has more to do with the hosting player than BW.
3. There is no text chat and a poorly-implemented voice chat. Because of this, you can't coordinate tactics or tell each other which way you're planning to go. This is a problem because the maps have so many side areas.

Poorly implemented?  Plug in a mic and talk.  Not really sure how that can be poorly implemented.  Or do you mean the lack of push to talk?  If someone is annoying mute him.
4. The RNG store is back. Need I say more?

Yeah.  It's actually worse than ME3...  At least in ME3, you could upgrade your stuff, not just get level 4 bows over and over.
