I wanted to say thank you again to Adela for sharing her skin texture with me. I made a patch and saw the texture in game, it's really not too bad.
I see what you mean about the brown at the hairline, though that is easily covered with certain hairstyles. It did give me a few ideas though, so I was messing around, importing different NPC textures as the inquisitor. You still get the hairline showing, obviously. Sera's looked great, honestly... . The problem I noticed was the transparency with the skin tones when using the NPC textures. You don't see a big difference since they are a more solid of a texture. I now understand why the inquisitor's texture has so much transparency. It was a fun afternoon of trying different things though
Makes me wonder, if we replaced the inquisitors d, n and s files with those of the NPC, would the Inq then look like that NPC? Maybe we could play as Leliana!
Maybe I will try that next.
