Updated my program so it can now modify things in the save game, such as hair/makeup colors. See this thread for more info, and let me know if it's useful or broken.

Complexion/Skin Tone is totally doable it just takes some time to find everything. Each slider points to three textures (diffuse, normal, spec) as well as some blending. For example:
Human Female Slider 1
D1_Diffuse texNameHash="3804040627" N1_Normal texNameHash="3804040633" S1_Specular texNameHash="1541992660" ComplextionBlend_Diff_Norm_Spec hash="C087A591" x="0.0" y="0.0" z="0.0"
The hashes just point to whatever texture is being used. A lot of the complexions use the same diffuse, but different normals, so on and so fourth.

I feel like both my previous posts were just requests for things that aren't really important, and seeing how under-appreciated modders feel now I feel a bit worse. So I just want to show this Inquisitor quickly:
I wanted to create a beautiful elf, fitting to catch the eyes of a divinity *wink wink*, and the mods gave me a better chance to pull it off. I love Shantia's face texture and Zachillios's HD eyes on this elf. I'm looking forward to trying out even more mods (I decided to take the risks of "infant mods" only today in a new playthrough), everything looks just so lovely and promising. Thank you so much for all your hard work guys!
(Oh and yes, I know, she has bat ears.)
Edit: In a bit different lighting, with black Inquisitor jammies. I had to restart a playthrough that was already at the Hinterlands but no regrets, I'm in love with this character now. Can't remember the modder for the jammies but my appreciation goes out for them too!

The reason you can't find anywhere, is because we still cannot do it, its a lot more involved unfortunately, and its going to take more time, while I also focus on other aspects at the same time.

I have so many colors I want to try out ranging from natural to really mind blowing neons. now if only we can retexture hairs and fix the nasty transparency issues some of the hairs are suffering from

Its looking more and more unlikely, this is due to using alpha masking instead of alpha blending, and without source access, we cannot change this, and the more I look at the shaders, the less I see of a way of doing it without source.

ugh that stinks reminds me of sims 4 with hair trans maps (sims 4 have none) modders had to resort to using glass shader to get hair transparency
