I have done it, but, as the video in there said, but it dosent show up ingame, and in the mod manager it says "Offical patch" I putted it in the new folder "merged" and it dosent show up ingam, did I do somthing wrong? Edit: In ingame I mean character creator. Edit: Nevermind I think it worked again thank you so much you made my day and week :D Edit again: it is not the first skin tone. Maybe I am wrong and it is not Cass's tone? Edoit again: No its not it, I have done everything he said the only thing I didint do, was checking if the patch is the original one but I havent putted any mods before so it have to be the original one, the only thing that pops up is the offical patch not the cass skin tone mod.

If you only get the official patch I am wondering if you browsed for your mod? Find the folder it is in and load it up. And you should see the mod there in the list under the official patch.

Are you getting the little checkbox for the new mod you want installed? I ask because it took me a while to get the hang of the tool, and it turned out that I was not pointing the mod manager to the right mod file. The merged part comes after

Yes I know where it is, btw, the Dragon age path thingy, I need to click on the Dragon age inquisition.exe in its location right?

The mod folder should be one you create yourself, where you put mods you create or download. Mine is on my desktop, but I guess it could be anywhere. If the checkbox for whatever mod you have is not showing up, the tool isn't going to the right location

Ok, try this, make a folde ron your desktop called mods, and then in there put the folder you downlaoded in there, and when you look for your mods, choose only the MODS folder and not the downloaded folder. I hope you understand what I mean, hard to explain.

There should be a box at the very top where you can browse to the location of the mod folder you made.

When you browse to the mod folder, stop there. Don't open it further to the mod, just stop at the folder itself.

If the official patch shows up you already have that step done correctly. It seems getting the mod in there is the part not working for you.

That's fine. That's what you want. The top box goes to the mod folder, the second one under it to your DA:I folder. It's the top one you want to find your mod folder

Shantia, if I am confusing things, feel free to tell me to back off :)

I'm trying to help because I struggled with this same thing a bit myself, but I don't want to add to the problem by not properly explaining the process. You probably know more about it

Inquisitor with Cass's skin tone mod: ScreenshotWin32_0134_Final.png

And Cass: ScreenshotWin32_0133_Final.png

I would be glad if somone will make a 100% copy of Cass's tone. :) We can clearly see that Cass tone on quizzy looks much more Darker, again I will be glad if somone make Cass's tone 100%copy if its possible and  not a problem to the person who do it.   Or Varric's sin tone, that would be perfect too :D

No problem :) Like I said, I was having the same problem the first time I tried using the tool.

Edit: Wanted to add, that it could be the lighting in that particular part making the skin seem darker? I know the first few cutscenes make most of my characters look horrible.

This was the mistake I was making, going too far into the Mods folder I had created and trying to load up each mod individual in the mod manager. You only need to direct Mod Manager to the folder you created, which I didn't realize. Thankfully mrjack helped alot that day. :P
