I have located a large number of Plot related flags and Plot variables. Am currently working through the list to get them documented, you can track the progress here: http://daitools.free...flags-t277.html

 

I have also located them in the save files and have successfully modified them, the second screenshot in the above thread shows me increasing the gold I am carrying to a very large number.

OMG THAS'T AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dont really like using cheat engine for that it slows my game and it bugs out

Just working through the huge list as we speak. For example, my savegame which is still near the start, has 1,574 Plot related boolean flags, 1,280+ Other plot flags (Trying to find out what they are) and 272 Plot variables.

 

Oh and also forget to mention, I found the world state, so we should be able to construct custom world states soon aswell.

Is this? The... the... stupidly annoying yet incredibley addictive shard value?? Can this be modified?? Do i no longer have to do incredibley annoying jumping games?? If this is true, i may have to love you for all time :lol:

Yes, I was trying to get a screenshot for proof, but unfortunately it doesn't actually display the amount you currently have anywhere (If anyone does find it, let me know). But when I did increase the number, all the quests relating to shards were ready for the next step, so it is in fact working. Also it does not update the Collections screen, thats obviously stored in other variables.

Oddly enough, I JUST had this issue crop up, as well, using Shantia's Face 2, twice, on an Elf. I played through this part this morning on another character using all the same mods except this one, and it played right through no problem. 
 
This morning (ok, yesterday morning, now) I was using 
 
Black Silk Attire
HD Eyes By Zachillios
Josie
Josie's Outfit (makes her gold cloth pink)
Pajamas Silver (Kamael's jammies)
Patch_nolevelreq
Remove All Armor Class Restrictions
Solas Pajamas (Kamael's)
 
Today I added Shantia's Face 2, and got stuck in the War Room at Haven, just after the first scene in there. Got a REALLY LONG load screen, then when it finally loaded, I was still in the War Room, but the doors weren't interactive, and there was nothing on the table (no map, no clutter.) I also never got the scene with hammering up the announcement of the Inquisition, or me on the steps with the Advisors, or the "Dragon Age: Inquisition" title screen.
 
I initially thought, since I walked into the War Room in my jammies (for screenshot purposes with Kamael's Silver jammies) that it was having an issue because it expected to "replace" whatever armor I was wearing with the Scout's Coat. So I put on my Mercenary Armor, and tried it again.
 
I ended up swapping out the merged folder for a fake patch folder to get past that part. Sounds like I'm in for further problems, though...

 

wait, you're using black silk attire? :o that's MY mod!!!! :D *feeling honored*

Thats awesome :D  Im gonna go do a happy dance over in my corner :wub:  Ive never actually gotten through the entirety of the temple as i always got bored of shard collecting along the way :lol:

This is great. Do you know if more fundamental flags such as sex or race are available and potentially moddable? With the bug prior to patch 2 where you would e.g. use a male model but the game would treat you as female, it seems these things should be controlled by a flag also.

Yeah there are Plot flags associated with Gender and Race and I have got them. And comparing to my save seems to reflect correctly. If anyone has a bad save (Where the gender does not align with the model) I would be interested in a copy, to verify if it is infact the flag values are incorrect.

This is extremely interesting. So altering those flags post character-creation switches how the game reacts to you? Would you mind sharing those types/values too?

Did u find finally? eybrows texture i mean.. as i said main eybrows diff texture doesnt work

 

It can be found here:

da3/actors/baseheads/textures/eyebrows/uh_eyebrows_m.dds

 

There is no diffuse for the eyebrows, only mask and normal map.

is anyone interested in taking a look at my diff texture and help me create a spec and tint? It doesn't work when I try :(

Out of curiosity, what's happening when you say it doesn't work?

 

I got photoshop, so I was going to play around and see if something with the way GIMP handles the files was causing problems. It's been a couple days since I've even looked at my texture, we needed time apart but I would still very much like to get it in game. If that makes a significant difference, I'll let you know.

I have a question it is a bit off topic it is  about a mod for DAO that I simply cant understand how to install (this mod is popular it is the DA2 grey wardens armor mod) I have tried everything, there is no DAzip file in the version of the DAzip and when I put the overide version the wardens show up naked. here is the mod: https://www.google.c....83640239,d.d24  and again sorry that it off topic

From what it says, you need to begin a new game to get them to show. Also, there's a runscript you have to type in to get them to spawn.

 

The armor mods in DAO were tricky, at least for me. A lot of them wouldn't work unless you began a new game.

well, the texture is turning out like crazy shining latex :( I've tried figuring out how to add things in the different channels in GIMP, but no luck with the spec :(

 

Edit: and since I'm a little late in my video, I really need to get this texture in the game SOON

You've actually gotten further than I have, then. After looking around a bit, I'm hoping it is a GIMP thing. Something about the way that program handles file data vs. PS. Have you tried PS?

Unfortunately, the mod is no longer supporting this, so I'm not sure if leaving a comment will do you any good.

 

What I meant was this 'runscript givewardenarmors'. You need to type that in the command console.

OH! But they went to a subscription thing!!! You can get PS for $9.99/month. Or a free 30 day trial. That's what I did yesterday. There's no way I could afford to buy PS outright either. The subscription has made me very happy.
