Hahaha Mr. Clean? Where did you found it? xD

Well I think that it has to do with the t map (the infamous map). I did the same as I did for all my other textures: I copied the parts that were supposed to shine (metal) to the alpha and green channels of the t map (only those 2 channels). Recently I been copying to the blue channel too, but I lower the brightness and contrast to the minimum on this channel, I think it added a better shine.

Also, thank you for your support, but worry not they don't deserve further attention than they already got.

Also if your feeling game, some of Solas's meshes have tweakable shader parameters (TintColor1, 2, and 3). So you would need to export the EBX as binary, as well as get the XML copy. Look for the Offset of those variables, and adjust the float values (Where 00 00 80 3F == 1.0f). You can use http://gregstoll.dyn...oll/floattohex/to convert float to hex (Then type it in reverse as it will show 3F 80 00 00 as 1.0f)

@Adela    The hair you've been working on.. are you creating those from scratch or are they ports of some type? I noticed the one of Miley's that you posted in the Cullen thread, and I was wondering, if you were indeed making them from scratch (bless your heart if you are, what a talent), would something like this be possible? It seems lore-friendly enough, IMO anyway.

31797-1-1386653498_zps2448fec3.jpg

That one is from a Skyrim mod, and quite honestly I have no clue if it was a port from someone like NewSea or just something made... but I adore that style.. it's basically how I run around looking 98% of the time.

Hi, yea i do all my hairs from scratch, because most of the hairs that I personally wanted couldn't find anywhere so i just make it mostly for my own enjoyment, I realize that some ppl may not have the same tastes as i do, but there might be some that do, hairs like the one you just posted is pretty simple to make, the ones that take me forever to do are usually braided ones (like the one i posted in the Cullen thread) hopefully i will be done with that Miley hair today or tomorrow depending how much time i have to spare and will try to make urs too, btw do u also have a front view of it? I will post the pics when im done

I just thought of something! I'm not sure how relevant this is for other people, but I have noticed that whenever I add a new mod, I have to revert the game to a vanilla state. I have a copy of the original mtf and data file just for this purpose. I'm not sure why this seems necessary, but failing to take this step results in a freeze or infinite loading screen for me. Might be something to try for anyone having trouble.

What do you mean? can you explain a little more? As I am constantly changing mods (While I am testing) and I dont load the game in between these changes. Also what do you mean by original MFT and data? This sounds like your replacing your official patch?

I copied the original patch, with nothing else installed. Whenever I add a new mod, I have to copy the original patch back over first. If I try to just paste the modded file over without doing so, my game freezes. Every time.

Does that make sense? I'll try to clarify if needed, but I don't really know enough to easily explain.

Make sure you delete the merged patch before copying a new one in there, because there may be some files that aren't replaced that are causing the endless load. I always remove the merged patch before I copy the new one in, to ensure everything is clean.

Oh, yeah. I do that too. I just wanted to mention it in case anyone else was having a similar problem. I guess most people on here already knew to do that, but it was something I learned the hard way lol.

Edit: I think I'm done. I have all my textures.

Mate can u post it on dai freeforms org? U willnot get answer here, not a chance.

Plenty of people answer posts here. A week ago, I had no idea what I was doing at all, and now I've managed three mods thanks to the people here. If someone isn't answering, it's because the post was missed, has already been answered, or those of us on simply don't know enough to respond in any meaningful manner.

Just to add the above, he should be able to feel free to post anywhere without having people like you shoot them down. There are some very highly skilled and talented people on this forum who definately know their way around the files. This includes myself, who is present here and at daiforums. So just leave him be and worry about yourself.

Sorry, Eham. I didn't mean any offense by the not knowing enough thing. I meant that the people that actually do know their way around aren't on 24/7 and might have missed a post.

My response was not directed at you, it was in addition to yours, it was directed purely at TrevellianMo. Sorry if it was not clear.

I have a question (again it seems lol) are there original armors from the game in the toolset? For example if I put to the keeper robes shoes model will it be in the actual keeper robes? Sorry for to many questions :3

Im not 100% sure what your actually asking, but all the files are available for viewing, so yes original armors are in there somewhere. If you mean armors from DLC's and such, not yet, otherwise please clarify.

Didn't your mother teach you manners? Manners 101: Even if you think these kind of thoughts when someone expresses their fair opinion, out of politeness you do not say this. Especially to people who work so all that you'd want modded can be done/upload your possible favorite mods...  Especially when these are the people you'd want to answer your questions.

Also if you aren't aware how your quoted response sounded, you could've written it as "yeah, sure, whatever.". That is what it sounded like.

Now backtracking a bit, faboulous work everyone!

Btw, is there a script or something that can allow you to import your custom Quizzys face to 3ds? Like with ME3 and the headmorph?

Not yet, still havent found the actual face data in the saves, we have found almost everything but the actual face data.

Lets please not waste anymore time on this subject, it detracts from the real discussion at hand here, the modding of Dragon Age.

Kids if you need me to kick some rude user for ya just let me know, with over 25,000 downloads on all our stuff we got some pull with the mods at Nexxus.

Ok please excuse me if this come across at all as rude, its not meant that way at all, im just really, really confused.

I regularly haunt both this thread and the nexus, cos im a curious kitty who likes too see what being made, what great ideas people have come up with etc etc.

But i dont get why theres threats about kicking rude users. Ive not seen a single rude user of the DA:I nexus (yet :? ). Ive seen a few disapointed people comment that they couldnt get a mod to work, but its mostly 'couldnt get it to work, this is my setup, a shame cos it looks great' I dont see whats rude about that   Ive not seen any negative comments about clevage (though i cant understand issues with that anyhow and i am a woman, with a lot of clevage :P ).

I dunno, i just feel like im following 2 entirely different conversations about one subject. Is there a seperate nexus forum with lots of ranting on that ive missed? Cos im really scratching my head over here as to whats going on

Wow, that is so awesome that you can do that from scratch. The talent of some of you just astounds me, and I have no problem admitting how jealous it makes me :P

Anyway.. at the moment my Skyrim folder is devoid of any mods other than an ENB, so I can't go in game to get a pic myself. ( I think I was reinstalling then decided to go play DAO or ME)

I found this one on the mod page which gives a decent side view.

For the front, here is another, uploaded by user LilithSuccubus, not the exact back style but same front iirc

Probably because the posts have been removed before you have had a chance to read them. I have been called an idiot and a hacker, and have apparently been deliberately destroying peoples games.

Ahhh that would be why then. Its a shame that people are being mean, personally im always pathetically grateful that anyone makes mods as im useless at such things but they add soo much to gameplay and replayability.

Ive actually started commenting on the nexus (which is unusual for me, im usually the silent stalker) in the hopes of promoting a positive atmosphere for creators.
