Probably because the posts have been removed before you have had a chance to read them. I have been called an idiot and a hacker, and have apparently been deliberately destroying peoples games.

Wow really? That is messed up, i wish ppl would actually read the description before starting to talk and realize that this tool is still in alpha and its still being worked on. No wonder some of the good folk that use to be on nexus arent posting their stuff on there anymore, and heck i don't blame them if things like this happen

Ive not seen a single rude user of the DA:I nexus (yet ). 

 

Here is a comment I got today on the Nexus from the lovely probe88 (aka TrevellianMo in this thread)

He's probably bitter about being ejected from this group and thinks I did it. I didn't but I wish I had a long time ago before someone beat me to it.

 

I don't have a lot of comments on my one and only mod (because it's not very popular) but most are positive or simple requests which I can either agree to or decline without animosity. I choose to believe that people are generally kind and polite but there are always those who feel the need to be toxic.

SO, sort of OT, sort of not, but I just had to share. I went to go do a new PT of Origins. I missed Alistair, it's that simple. Don't hate.

 

 I had to laugh. I get into the CC, and even with my abundance of character enhancing mods, hair port of awesome dreads, and a mrh file I'd done myself in the Toolset, I just sat there, going.. "uh, wut? Really?  Ewwwww/"

 

All the complaints about the DA:I CC not being comparable to some of the other games out there (including some ranting from myself under my breath). BUT, how far we've come since Origins is truly great. Maybe it's not the best CC out there, I have seen better ( my husband played EVE ), but I couldn't even get into making a character for a new pt in Origins because it was so plain compared to this game, even with only the handful of mods available right now. 

 

We are in for some treats, in my opinion, once the mesh importing happens, and we have a better understanding of the editing of the textures. I can't wait!

You did the spike texture mod? I liked the look of it, sadly i dont ever play male characters, otherwise id have given it a download.

Ugh origins CC, i believe i found one set of eyes i liked in that and one nose. Needless to say all my wardens looked exactly the same, oddly like mildly startled deer, though they did have great hair (thanks to mods).

 

I modded my origins to death, not sure what killed it the end, but it refused to let me play lol. Not that im fussed, im merrilly playing the hell outa inquisition instead

 

The small details you can change now is so much better, like the angle of the eyes, how wide they open etc. My characters all look different now! I love my current char, she looks awesome

Yeah. and I think, if I remember right, occasionally you can stand in a lounge or hangar or something. It's been a while. But I remembered how intense the CC was. I considered playing for that reason alone, but my husband knows me well enough to have told me that is the only thing I would have liked of the game.

Also if your feeling game, some of Solas's meshes have tweakable shader parameters (TintColor1, 2, and 3). So you would need to export the EBX as binary, as well as get the XML copy. Look for the Offset of those variables, and adjust the float values (Where 00 00 80 3F == 1.0f). You can use http://gregstoll.dyn...oll/floattohex/to convert float to hex (Then type it in reverse as it will show 3F 80 00 00 as 1.0f)

Ok please excuse me if this come across at all as rude, its not meant that way at all, im just really, really confused.

 

I regularly haunt both this thread and the nexus, cos im a curious kitty who likes too see what being made, what great ideas people have come up with etc etc.

 

But i dont get why theres threats about kicking rude users. Ive not seen a single rude user of the DA:I nexus (yet ). Ive seen a few disapointed people comment that they couldnt get a mod to work, but its mostly 'couldnt get it to work, this is my setup, a shame cos it looks great' I dont see whats rude about that   Ive not seen any negative comments about clevage (though i cant understand issues with that anyhow and i am a woman, with a lot of clevage ).

 

I dunno, i just feel like im following 2 entirely different conversations about one subject. Is there a seperate nexus forum with lots of ranting on that ive missed? Cos im really scratching my head over here as to whats going on

Haha, I think with that kind of CC I would never get started either. Whereas now I can restart 10 times to get the nose-mouth-chin distance satisfactory, having that many parameters would be insanity-inducing: aren't the arms a little too long? Shoulder-hip-width ratio correct? Knees too low or too high? Feet seem like giant flippers ingame even though they looked fine in the CC?

 

Then again, as long as they had functionality to re-enter the CC at will from inside the game *cough* everything would be fine.

I been waiting for this game for over a year, and Im downloading it right now to play the korean version. The character creation alone makes me go absolutely crazy. Is the best CC I ever saw in any game.

It was just quite surreal too see people commenting on negative posts when i never seemed to come across them. Felt like i was visiting a different nexus or some such   It makes a lot more sense now its been explained.

Hehehe, red and blue holds 8 eyebrows and green hold 6 eyebrows (if I am remembering correctly). So you can choose whichever you like, if you look in the channels you also see which eyebrow it will replace.

So.. you are asking if someone here will port the armor from DAI to DAO for you? I'm confused.

No, I already did it. I just need to retexture this armor because default textures are colorless and DAO engine need to work with colored ones.

Yes they replace the npc's eyebrows aswell.
