What I do, if I want to use an older patch (Since Origin won't let you replace the patch directory at all). Is Backup the data and Updates directory and the DA executable and place them somewhere, then I point the Mod Manager to this directory instead and build my merged patch off of that. Even tho you cannot replace the Official patch, you can still overwrite it with an older patch (You just need to edit the package.mft to make the patch version higher).
Well, I have a full copy of the game patched to 2. If I have issues with patch 3, I may need some help. I understood every word you said, but I'm running on no sleep (long crappy story) and my brain won't quite wrap around the meaning behind it.
Wait...lemme see if this is trickling through - the copy of the game I have right now, I could point the mod manager at IT for the "Dragon Age Path," and let it merge into the original, patch 3 patched Update\merged folder, and it would overwrite patch 3 with patch 2 and mods?
I think I have a problem....
I started with the mod for my qunari because that's mainly what I play. Then I did one for my human because, why not? and that gave me the idea for the elf. Now, I've made up a dwarf, for the express purpose of modding her outfit. I will never play this character. I know I won't. She will sit in Haven but dang it, she'll sit in style
I'm not even playing the game anymore because all I want to do is change everyone's clothes. It's become some weird version of Thedas' Top Model... No one said anything about how addicting this could become.
I feel you. Played 100s of hours of Skyrim, never finished it, highest level was 17. My character was damn hot, though. http://www.nexusmods...im/mods/45525/?(none of these are my MODS, I just put everyone else's mods to good use.)
