Maybe it has something to do with Dropbox that you can't see them?
I think I might work on the collar some more.

Wow...Just...Wow...
thank you!!!

I really don't consider this immersion. :/

If it was just on the boots I'd like it but up to the crotch or boobs is ridiculous to me.
Well dwarves are short, and im sure its really dusty around there ![]()

I've never noticed anything that drastic, but perhaps that is also why the default under outfit is a beige/dust color?
Black definitely shows it the worst. My qunari looks like she's been wallowing around Haven. For the longest time, I thought I'd done something wrong with the textures.
It doesn't sadly look too good, colors are so unclear and uncertain that it leaves a feeling of very.. "round" lines. Not an issue if the character was designed to be more "round", why not, why should there always be only supermodel types around. Kudos if that's the case. If that isn't the case though then I'd really suggest to add some elements which would bring more certainty to the overall image.

Are you talking about the dwarf texture? 'Cause if so, dwarves are pretty round. Short and curvy is pretty much the dwarven female body type.
Also, regardless of what you're talking about, there has to be a more tactful way to get your point across than 'doesn't look too good.'

Steady on with criticizing other people's work unless they explicitly asked for it. This is a safe place for all modders to show their work. If you're not keen on something you see, just ignore it. Especially coming from someone who said:
Makes me wish I had any skill in this area myself, but alas.
Anyone know where the preset data used in chargen for both the Inquisitor and Hawke might be located and if there is any way to overwrite one of the presets used for Inq with one (or more) used for Hawke? I did a test the other day and realised they're not the same.
I guess I'm asking Eham this but if anyone else has been digging, let me know ![]()
ETA: Sorry I meant the head shape presets.
Spent the last two days turning Skyhold purple ( I really like purple) and the lighting in there is so dark most of it shows up as black
Ah, well. Bedroom looks nice.

I know it's been a while and it shouldn't really matter, but this has been bugging me. I wanted to give the new eyebrows another try because I really loved them on the Inquisitor and thought "okay, maybe a few NPCs will have it, so what". So I gave it another try and played further in the game, and actually everything looks fine. The only thing that "scared" me a bit the first time was this:
She looked so angry while she was supposed to be sad originally, I was worried everyone will look like that. But this time I saw other NPCs and it was perfectly fine so far.
Anyhow, I gave it another try, and it was worth it:
And I know you said no hard feelings Shantia but I apologize once again, should've given it more time and play further. It's a lovely mod.
Spoiler

Sad? That woman(man?) always looked to me like they were glaring daggers at my back. ![]()
On the topic of the dirt that appears on the clothes in various areas, I've only ever noticed it in Haven when I'm wearing the Warden Battlemage armor. And on an elf, the dirt goes up to about the waist level on the clothes. At first I thought something was wrong with the colors of my armor. ![]()
But wow, yeah...I'm surprised the dwarf isn't running around as a complete ball of dirt. That goes pretty high on the dwarves.
The immersion would be nice, but its not apparently obvious that its dirt on your clothes. It just looks like a color issue. Also, the Inquisitor is the only one who gets the dirt on them, so...that sort of ruins it.
So a few days ago, someone was working on messing around with Dorian's hair and facial hair... I can't remember who it was. Any progress on that?

You have preset data here "systems/charactercreation/presets" for all races and hawke. The male chargen presets are one dir up for some reason. You need to make sure when you export one and replace with another, that you change the File Guid back to the original, and also any instance Guids (So basically anywhere Guid="#######" appears in the XML). Otherwise links to and from other EBX will be broken.
But also I have had very little success modyfing them myself, so not sure if its possible yet.

Are you judging my texture based on the mandatory dirt overly the game uses and the dwarf model Bioware made? I don't even know how to respond to this.

If you post something to get a feedback then you can't immediately assume that any and every feedback is an attack. Especially since I wasn't the only person giving a feedback, neither was my feedback berating your work in any way. I didn't say that "author did a bad work". No. I respect people who do any work and show effort to improve something or add something new. So I respect your work as well.
I simply implied that I am not certain about the overall look and that I cannot say for sure whether this comes from the way the default in-game graphics and char models look or something else. I don't play female chars and thus I do not know how female dwarf models look in-game (at least all the options), save the occasional default ones I've run into in the game. Thus, in my opinion (what people can agree with or not, I'm OK in either way) if some details can be added to strengthen some lines it would give some sharper effect. But it's just a suggestion based on my view and anyone can agree or disagree with this, since people have different tastes or preferences. How you will do it however depends on your taste and your goal and you should do it the way you want to. A decision I would respect in any case.
But nowhere did I say that you or anyone did a bad job, because this isn't the case. Anyone who contributes something, anything, does a good job in my eyes. I am personally very glad to see any and all new content and mods (and modding tools) appear for DAI, especially considering how BW has ignored such an obvious and necessary and known and requested feature.
That's quite deftly put, Whailor.
Please can you tell me what kind of armor is that? This is orlesian armor but how it looks in game? Can anyone make screenthor for me?

It was me.. I didn't really like the outcome but if you give me a day to tidy it up a bit I'll upload the mod for you.

Can we change the GUID if they don't have offsets (that I can see) in the xml? I don't know what to try and change in the hex editor... or would these be changed some other way? I assume there's no point editing the xml directly...
Sorry if I sound stupid...
