Finished my conversion, not really happy with it tbh. Might redo the arms - they look off.
Just realised she doesn't have any eyebrows haha. Used the default face texture since Leliana's face was too dark and clashed with the skin texture.

Oh let me post you some shots courtesy of SirMehr! Though I bet you could do better ^^

I think she looks great and the transition of the armor looks AWESOME keep up the good work MOAR STUFF FROM SILVIST TKavatar AND Renmiri
@Tkavatar - My friend...Triss Merigolds armor!!! HAHAHA! Thank you so much!! That's one of my favorite armors..since I'm a HUGE witcher fan. From the looks of it you did a stupendous job! Boots and all!
I've played with that mesh before, and I know the boots are not easy to line up..so well done! (stupid angled feet and ankles)
I've been fighting to try and figure out if there's any tools out there that allows you to convert xml files to something more usable for skeletons for 3ds max. Since with the new DA Tools you can finally extract the hf_skeleton and etc into xml files. I know the xml files contains the bone data...just need a usable format..bah!
Adela, Silvist and the rest, thank you so much for your hard work. I can not express my gratitude for you wanting to make this game better.
Awesome stuff! Awesome hairs and armors, yummy!
Not the best armor to convert, but it was still fun. My other armor I had to scrap for now cause it came out horrible lol. Mind you it is a tad revealing lol. It does have panties underneath at least...I just enjoyed the shoulder plates ;p
Guess I'll have to see what the ladies think, cause that's the real approval!
Hello just a message for modders, You great an amazing work Adela, Silvist, Renmir1 and anothers ![]()
Nice armor work, Silvist. Those shoulder plates look great, though I bet they were a bit difficult to get placed right.
ETA: Are you using 3dsmax to open the xml files? My old ver.9 isn't importing correctly (shows as 0 verts), so I wonder if I need Blender or even Milkshape instead.
I'm so excited for what you guys are doing, I doubt I'm a good modder, as I only did some little things for Skyrim, but if you need anything let me know.
"There are some who say what your doing couldn't be done... [but you're doing it anyway]"

Finished Solas
This was pretty easy to do.
@ TKavatar WOW THAT LOOKS AMAZING!!! Is that from witcher as well?
@Silvist looking good as usual
![]()
Yep, this is Iorveth's outfit.
that armor looks BADASS!!! Great work on it! And it looks soo good on solas

Thanks ![]()
Yeah I thought it would suit Solas haha
So, how DO you guys crank out assets like that so fast?
I mean obviously you're borrowing at least some parts from completed work, but still, how do you make multiple armors like that in 1 night? That's insane (and awesome).
@Tkavatar - Iorveth! Looks awesome on Solas! Yet another spectacular armor! Thanks so much Tk ^^
@Metalmaster - don't worry bout the xml, just something I was messing with. You want to be importing object formats into 3ds...since that's all we got atm.
I'm pretty sure you can extract the meshes with da tools as an obj but I haven't played with it yet (cause I already dumped the whole game with Ehams tools). I'm using 2013 max myself, but I don't see why 2009 would have any issues (many modders prefer that version lol).
@Chaeote - Years of practice. Adela's hair meshes have no borrowed assets, except for the head and body she's using for a reference.
@Adela, TKAvatar, Silvist: I made a new area for you guys to show off your work on the DAI Tools forum. Please post some screenies there ? Makes it easier to show off, here we only have one thread with everything
http://daitools.free...allery-f12.html
Moved Silvist thread from "General" to this new area ![]()
@Renmiri - Thanks a ton, I just slapped my stuff in general cause I didn't see anywhere else to put it. Now we do!
is there a diffrerent code on that forums for images other then [img] [/ img]? also what is the "code" for spoilers over there is it the same as here?
also thank you for doing this Renmiri1

Nope, both should work fine
@ Renmiri1 - thanks for setting it up ![]()
@Adela - Ya, its the same. It just didn't work when the forums were first setup. Thanks to Renmiri, we can now use the same codes ^^
SWEET thanx guys
im just finishing my last batch of hair now so i will be posting everything i done so far there
Hmm, upon more exploration of the DA tools, it doesn't seem like it can extract meshes to any format other than xml. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but I'm going to bring it up to Eham, and see what he says.
@Silvist, thanks for the reply. I did figure out what tab to use to extract mesh to obj, but it's not working. I see you've brought it up to Eham already. ![]()
One question, as I was extracting bundle textures, I don't have anything for Cullen. Anyone know which .sp they're located in? nvm, found them.
Is anybody compiling instructions anywhere? Creation, or usage?
(I was mostly looking to perhaps contribute toward the tools myself, since I’ve zero experience working with 3D software, but we’ll see…)
