Not sure how correct my findings actually are, Loghain has a head morph but correct he does not have a unique face texture, he uses da3/actors/baseheads/dwarfmale/textures/dm_hed_base_d as his diffuse (Dwarf face).

 

And Anora, also has no unique face texture, uses: da3/actors/baseheads/humanfemale/textures/hf_hed_bas_d

 

Oh, that actually helps a lot. Shame they didn't get unique assets, but identifying the textures they're using is a good start for what I was trying to do. Mucho thanks!

Hey guys. This is probably something that has been covered but I can't seem to find an answer. Is it possible to change my Inquisitor's name? I hear it has to be the same letter count as the original name given, and that's not a problem in my case. I just don't really know what tools I would go about using to try this. Thanks!

Haha a sneak peak at a new mod coming and also new features, script importing. I modified the script to return 0 every time, so you can jump off any height and not get hurt.

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I just joined to say thanks to all you modders for your hard work. I haven't really delved into DAI Tools myself yet, but plan to look into it later. I have used the Ehamloptiran's save tools a little bit just to mess around and test some stuff (i.e. multiple specs, multiple romances, changing world state flags, ect).

I did manage to make a simple banter hack via Cheat Engine where you can manually trigger banter with hotkey. I will upload today or tomorrow if people are interested in it. I'm not sure it will work for everyone (if using good pointer), since I just recently started trying CE.

The patch was supposed to trigger banters more often if I'm not mistaken, and yet since the patch it's as if I've been having even less banters. I always have Cheat Engine open so it wouldn't be extra trouble for me to use it. I'm definitely interested and would love you so much if you could release it.  :wub:

You can do that with Cheat Engine. I swap appearances all the time, it's great. Here's my guide: http://porcelyn-doll...-engine-for-dai

However after closing the game reloading a save after using this technique and the items stats are definitely being changed. Armors seem the most affected, helms seem ok however. Won't even fool with weapons right now.

 

Guess i STILL have to wait until Ehamloptiran and other modders can come up with a way to simply change item appearances. That's all i am looking for.

I can change an items appearance via save game edits, only the appearance gets changed, no stats - Which is not what I was after, so I stopped working on it. So if thats what ur after, I could see what I can get up and running

all i want to do it turn the below into looking like my favorite looking items;

 

 

 

 i use these crafted items         would like to look like

 

Superior Prowler Armor    -------------------------> Warden Battlemage Light Armor

Superior Skirmisher Hat   -------------------------> Warden (wingless) Helmet (if you can't find it will settle for Wingedversion)

Seers Staff --------------------------------------------> First Enchanters Staff

Okay all done, if there is a wingless warden helmet, then its not called a warden helmet, every version has wings that I could find:

Just make sure you backup your old one, this is still a very untested area of modification, I don't see any adverse affects occuring, as we are just changing appearance, but best to be safe.

the saved game i think might be yours by accident it was in the winter palace and my guy was suddenly a gal!

finally figured out what was happening with the editing

 

after getting your work Ehamloptiran i noticed the Arm & Leg Slots were missing on the warden mage armor

 

you see the Arm & Leg Slots are automatically removed when using the warden armor because by default they cant have those slots, i figured out a way around it i think, now i just spend an hour looking for some fade-touched silverite...again! lol

 

so thanks to both Ehamloptiran and PorcelynDoll between you guys i was finally able to fix it.
