Haha yeah I was contemplating posting it, I saw it earlier, and I just bowed by head in shame, how can I allow my tools to produce such a mod ![]()
I vote for chest hair textures!
Serious question:
Can I take old mods and convert them into the new daimod format?

Rule 34, could have waited for it lol.

Yes, and it'll work most of the time, some mods will need to be recreated ie. Remove Weapon Restrictions. Most visual mods can be opened and resaved without issue, logic mods will most likely need to be recreated as they may be modyfing pre-patch data.
Random Question:
Is there any possible way to change the model of a certain item to that of another? The templar armor schematic looks different on mages & rogues; but I want the warrior version instead.
sure is possible between Ehamloptiran and PorcelynDoll i was finally able to get the look i wanted
just be careful and remember that with armors if you turn armor that has Arm & Leg Slots into an armor that doesn't you will loose the upgrades. There are ways around it but it's a little time consuming.
I think the templar armor light and heavy versions don't have any Arm & Leg Slots so you should be ok.
just follow these tutorials for appearance changes.

Eh...sooner or later, there will always be a nude mod. And usually only for girls. *pouts* In fact, lady characters always get the most overall mods in general. I want goodies for my guy characters!
You just got to accept it as human nature and move on. People will do what they want ultimately with their game.
*pats Eham consolingly*
Seeing a certain NPC and the Inquisitor cuddling fully clothed just seems wrong to me.
Sometimes a tasteful nude mod is useful.
Does anyone have a link to that fabulous looking eyebrow mod from erm quite a few pages back? ![]()

You can find the eyebrow mod on Shantia's tumblr. ![]()
By the way, as I'm about to create a character, it just occurred to me; is there any way to make the CC brighter? The one for the Inquisitor is okay but for Hawke it can get extremely dark (like seeing only silhouette) when I zoom out to see the full picture.

Ahhh great, thanks for that! ![]()

I used DAI cinematic tools in the Hawke CC. There's a lighting setting, or you can pan to where there's light and use the cinematic tools to move the camera around.
(If I'm being specific about recreating Hawke, I eventually just made them in the Inquisitor CC and copied the sliders over.)
Why on earth they made it so dark I have no idea.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. I had some unlucky moments with the tool (didn't know how to quit from it) so I didn't experiment much with it. Guess I could've looked up tutorials but hey, better sooner later than never!
I have bug for russian verstio- I cannot port static meshes.

When you encounter problems ladyofpayne, you need to be way more specific and provide us with as much detail as you can, as I am unable to say what the issue might be based off what u wrote, please explain what the issue actually is, and what you are trying to do.

Mwahahaha. Where is your God, now, modders? Where?
Actually, I'm fine with this. It's a rather dramatic example of how far modding has come in the past couple months, and provides an interesting thought experiment/betting pool on time until mass media flips their stuff about bewbies being shipped on the disk and actually visible.

Could be worse, think how all those physicists that created the tools to cause nuclear fission felt when they saw that the first real world application of it was to wipe a couple cities off the map. In the end their work provided a lot of good though too, so just ignore the bad and concentrate on all the good it will bring ![]()
Are we still saving in DXT5 and 1? When i make new mods my textures get distorted. I don't know what I am doing wrong.

Try to save to whatever format it was originally, most diffuse are DXT1 or 5 (5 if it needs alpha). Normals are ATI2, Spec DXT5, the rest is just whatever it says in the texture preview.
Can't really tell, but that looks like ur diffuse doesn't match ur tint, so ur getting leaking around the sides of the buttons. Also there are currently issues with textures and streaming, we are approaching a solution, but will take a bit more time.
I'm fine with there being nude mods, because that will allow armor that shows skin to be viable. Plus, from the looks of the mod all the author did was swap out the in game nude body with the pjs. While, that's a large improvement over doing it through the cheat engine..I'm seriously hoping for a higher poly mesh.
This may not be important to mod users, but to mod makers (armor modders) like myself a good nude base is a huge thing.
This gives us all a good shape to shape/conform to, and be able to test clipping prior to importing it into the game. Its not like they made some kind of sex mod with animals or something...at least not yet @_@
Just keep in mind art is a very broad spectrum, check deviantart.com if you don't believe me lol. That being said I'm willing to live with a couple odd mods, in exchange for professional modders who bring their talents to the table.
I remember in Skyrim modding, one guy developed a modding tool that was probably built for sex mods. In the end the tool ended up being an essential "prerequisite" to any animation mod in the game.
Sometimes I think people forget just how eccentric some of the greatest artists of all times used to be.
Yet, nobody talks about their odd interests anymore..just their exquisite art ;D

loverslab.com source of all advanced scripting/modding techniques for gamebryo engines (F3, FNV, Skyrim, etc.)
@Eham - Lol yea that's very true. Mind blowing isn't it? Though, it doesn't surprise me. People have to be motivated somehow ;p
I remember reading some scripting they did there...geezius. It was nearly 10 pages of code far above my head. Only a couple of the readers even knew what the author of the thread was talking about lol.
Okay we have some new releases:
Modding Tool v1.20 alpha: http://daitools.free...eased-t467.html
Mod Manager v0.46 alpha: http://daitools.free...eased-t466.html
Both of these used together should eliminate texture streaming issues we have been having. And also inadvertantly fixes some crashes that some users were experiencing.
Hello!
Seeing all the amazing things people are doing, I wanted to edit some textures with my modest skills, as well.
However, when I wanted to import what I did with Eham's Modding Tool, it seems that i ran into an error. When clicking on a texture asset to replace, the tutorial says it should open a window looking like this:
http://media.tumblr....PbYM1r8dge9.png
With it, a replace button should become available.
However, when I click on a texture asset, I get this:

Am I doing something wrong? I would be grateful for a reply ![]()
