You can rework the sharpness by adjusting MIP levels by hand in Photoshop or the likes.
As daimods work as intended you're no longer always using highest MIP level for texture mods, this is much better for load but requires MIPs to be individually optimized for some texture mods.
I'm not sure how to do that but google is my friend and I'll figure it out

replacing the patch folder with my merged seems to work for most mods so far and merges without issue.
this is what i'm playing with right now, no crashes yet! (it's about 20min+ right now)

Its because you use other face textures
So I been working in some retextures when suddenly I lost all my saves... Words cannot tell how happy I am!
I've tried to recover them from the cloud system, and all the other possible ways but unfortunately they are forever gone.
So here I come ask if someone can please help me by sending a save with the containing the following:
- Inquisitor as female elf
- The most schematics possible
- All companions recruited
I plan on start some armors retextures, therefore I need a save with the most schematics possible. The point in the story line is irrelevant as long as the main quest is not yet finished.

I actually got a female elf in haven right before in hushed whispers. She's a mage if that's okay, i'll mod in a for more schematics for ya, assuming someone doesn't beat me to it.

so i'm not sure what i did different... i tried making two mods, which worked fine before.. did a merge successfully, but game is CTD every time... unless i put in a vanilla 6 patch, it crashes beforehand :/ both tools and manager are most recent... and i don't think i deleted any necessary files or anything?
i was getting a nvidia error and random times during the game--not sure what it was.. it stopped after i put in a vanilla but now, any merged/modded patches don't work 
any idea what could be wrong? my lavellan mod was working fine (face texture)... I then reopened a .daimod for solas' texture (which was originally made with v47/v1.26 i think) in tools, and basically resaved it/revamped (after editing the diffuse.dds file in PS). because it's from an old mod, would that be a cause? even though i "renewed" the mod?
After a long time without play DAI or do any modding related activity due to lack of time, now I am back to this game and been doing a couple new things.
Nothing like some time away from your own creations to open your eyes and allow refinement.

Quick question: anyone know where the ebx file that controls the colour of the Halamshiral outfit used in WEWH is located? I can find the textures of the outfit just fine but I want to alter the tints themselves and I can't find them.

btw: I'm doing another video, and I wonder if there's an audio extractor somewhere? I can't play the entire game with just dialogues and no sound effects or music xD and it's annoying to do it that way, too

I take it you modded em_hed_bas_d.dds ? Did you use files extracted using WV's DAITools? I extracted all textures in the game using that tool and that file is also blue for me. If you extract it using the DAIModdingTool by Eham, it should be normal.

WV's DAITools has an audio extractor for dialogue at least. I'm not sure about music or SFX.

A guide to downloading Warranty Voiders DAITools can be found here. Use Sound Explorer in the tool to extract audio. I can't be of any more help than that though. I don't really use that tool much anymore.

I havent changed the tattoo colors at all, I just made the tattoo directly on the face texture, so I could have more options to add effect to the tattoo

Do you have "White Teeth" mod installed? Apparently version 2 of that causes blue faces for certain characters. I use version 1 and haven't had any problems
