First of all I would like to congratulate and thank a lot all the hard work that you guys are doing. Amazing, brilliant, wonderful and very much necessary for our greater delight!

 

This game have really nice features compared to the prequels, but a lot regarding the character creation is really just sad and doesn't do justice to so many other nice aspects.

 

I really can't wait to have all of your mods and play hundreds of hours looking at DAI world as best as it can be.

And since @Adela is open for suggestions of hairstyles I humbly give a few options here (which would make me really happy to have!!)

 

This hair is originaly from Tera Online MMO, the picture bellow is a port from this game made by Cazy to another games. The hair is awesome for both male and female!

 

 

This hair for female characters, out of Lineage 2.

This was my own character on that game, damn I really miss him... And his hair!

 

 

Well, thats all I can think of really nice hairs. The good thing about most of them is that they won't clip too much.

 

I don't want to abuse, I'm just sooo full of hopes for mods in DAI, can't wait really xD

@Kamael - Actually some of those were ported to Skyrim.  I could probably dig the mesh up.  It would just need to be converted.  

 

@Adela - Hmm, bulkiest armor..the templar armor is probably one of the bulkiest.  Though it depends if your talking about the main character, or npcs (since they have there own sets).  Typically any of meshes that end in _100 are the torso of armor, and _10 are the arms.  Most are broken into legs, torso, arms.

 

I can try to find you the most bulky armors if you'd like ;p

 

@Metalmaster - Adela showed you were the eyes/eyelashes were, though to get them to be transparent make sure you also put the texture in a transparency slot.  The default color is blond btw lol.

 

I found some of the eyes in morphs.toc, let me see if i can find the others.  Alright so I found some eyelashes in partymembers_plot.toc.  Crazy how its all over the place.

Those armors are awesome, I would love them in DA:I, if there is a chance of course.

Yea, that's the goal hopefully there would be no need to do anything crazy to acheave that and by that i mean, if you have to do some coding in order to appear for both genders.. hopefully that wont be the case but idk we'll see when Ehm gets done with his tool

Now imagine her armor as Skyhold finery huh huh??? Damn THAT would be a true female Inquisitor. And the guy's armor is probably my most beloved and favorite armor of all times, I never saw most marvelous armor than this one, Id love for both male and female!

I know right... I played that game for 2 years because the graphics are amazing, and some of the armors there are the best I ever saw. Silvist knows, he got his hands in some of the armors from this game, hopefuly he is going to pull the time and patience to get some of the best of them for DAI. Dreams dreams .....

I'm so glad modders are already cracking into this beast. And while I don't personally plan on doing a qunari playthrough, it's nice to see them getting some much needed love where hair is concerned.

 

On a somewhat off topic but still kind of related note, ME3 is moddable now? To what extent and are there any mesh replacements for male Shepard  that you guys know of? I've always wanted to play a more boyish looking Shep but the character creator was so poor I always just stuck with Sheploo.

@Kamael - Just tell me the names of those armors.  I have most of the armors from Skyrim UNP.  If you haven't seen my work, I've already converted a couple:

@Adela - Finding the texture of these armors is really a pain.  I'm not sure if some are under factions or what lol, its nuts.

Once there is a simple way to get everything ported back in to the game and working, we modelers can start working on making armors and such.

@Silvist Ohh trust me I'm following your work by spamming F5 like crazy.  But by the name you mean the Tera's original name or the name from the Skyrim mod?

@Kamael - The mod author uses the Tera original names abbreviated in the folder layouts.  Like H17, C27, HF10, etc.  H=human, C=Castanic, HF=High Elf.

For MONTHS I've been saying that DAI will be moddable....and users scoffed at me - "the Frostbite engine can't be modded!" they said. Well...leave it up to Bioware and Dragon Age modders to do it. Nice work. 

 

Now I shudder when I think of all the "Cassandra/Vivienne/Sera beautification" mods I"m going to see in the future. Uek!

Mostly I'm concerned Viv will get the Isabela treatment. *cough* Fair skinned Isabela *cough* I mean....and Cass will get prom styled hair.

Can you provide the models?  It would help make it happen sooner.

personally i wouldnt  really want to change any companion appearance (other then thir armors maybe) the only reason i put hair on Solas was because  i found some concept art of him in the DAI art book and just wanted to see how it looks
