Could someone be kind and help me with something? Do one of you have a save that is close to the Halamshiral quest or in it? I need someone to test my update and since I'm in the beginning of the game, it'll take ages to test it myself ![]()

Ah, I have the De Luxe edition. It may not work with the normal edition, sorry. I hadn't thought about that! ![]()

Joyce, i have a save as well, but it's also Deluxe with all other DLC as well. I'd be willing to test for you if Ashara is not. ![]()

On my game, it's coming out a bright red for most of the outfit. I assume it's supposed to be black? ![]()
I caught a couple of screenies, I can post if you need reference.

Today is my first time going to play JoH since the latest ModManager updated. I've run into a problem.
The game crashes during the loading black screen into the area. I'm currently in the process of trying to find the culprit
EDIT: So after about 2hours of hair pulling found the culprit... or culprits as it were:
Shantia's Female Complexion 01
Shantia's Female Complexion 02
But it seems her eyebrow and Female Texture work fine. DLC's are REALLY not liking her complexions for some reason. Both JoH and BE seem to get angry with it

@Joyce I experimented a bit with your file (since I have too much free time). It seems to be an issue with the tint map. I have no idea why, but "blanking" uni_hm_inquisitor_Dress01a_0t made the colors show correctly.
Very odd...but I hope this is helpful. ![]()

Munchyfly came up with a good theory. She thinks that any file that affects the Inquisitor's complexion (inquisitorjim/inquisitorjill in the da3 resources) will cause a crash, but any file that affects the complexion files that all the NPCs use as well won't cause a crash. I haven't had time to test that theory, but it certainly seems plausible. Perhaps something was (minutely) changed for the DLC, or this problem will be fixed once we have a Patch 7/DLC compatible toolset and those mods can be re-made.
Not sure what the fix is, but unfortunately, it seems to be consistent with several very popular mods.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the latest mod manager solved all the JOH issues, it was just the BE that still had problems.
I am using 0.52, I thought that was the newest.

That theroy makes sense since the complexion mod is the only mod that cause the BE and Jaws to not load.

Do you mean the files in:
da3\actors\baseheads\inquisitor\textures ?
hf_hed_inq_d
hm_hed_inq_d
That would really throw a spanner in the works for me because from what I can tell they're the only ones that don't get used by NPCs. I just started work on an entirely new face with eyebrows, scalp and stubble and normal created from scratch in ZBrush for a custom character.
I guess I'll just create two versions of it. One that replaces the inq textures and one that replaces one of the human male textures and then swap before JOH. It's not ideal but it's a workaround at least. ![]()

I just erased the content of uni_hm_inquisitor_Dress01a_0t and imported this blank one in its place. Sorry for being unclear.
No idea why this works, though...I'm a little confused by it.

It’s well known that certain mods crash with BE.

This method works because the halamshiral robes can be crafted and can be tinted with various material colours according to what information is on the tint map. A blank tint map stops this from happening because there is no information in the tint map for the game to find so the colours of the diffuse are not overridden by the crafting material colours.

I only had that problem with Shantia's Complexions. if you have mods that change complexions disable them before you go to the BE then re-enable them when you leave

Working on a new file called "Scarquisition." It's a subtle change to some of the scars to make them puff out rather than dent in and I was hoping some of you lovely people wouldn't mind looking at some comparison shots and letting me know if anything looks off about them. I would be forever grateful to you all. Thank you.
PS: If you have a male qunari save that is already at Haven or Skyhold I would very much appreciate if you would share it with me. I need to finishing testing the Black Emporium and the Mirror. Thank you again. ![]()
