Excuse me for not going through 25 pages of posts to find the answer myself but are there any mods ready for people to download or are they still being tested? When I first read that because of the engine used that mods were highly unlikely I was depressed and now finding out that people are already working on them is making me excited and impatient

I keep the first post up to date and same for the group description page. Right now we have  simple mods in the works and ready : the ability to view game stuff on your favorite graphics program like Blender, 3dsMax, Paintshopor Maya

Thank you to all of your talented modders who are working on great things. I cannot wait until we can import these into my game. You guys are awesome.

 

For other hair references, I really liked Anto's hairstyle converts for DA:O.

You mean you made it from scratch or imported like an .obj from another source (like the Sims)? And what year is your 3ds? 2015 or earlier? (Am about to get it myself soon and want to know which version to get).

 

And btw; is it only possible to add textures at the moment? Not complete meshes?

While its  sometimes easier and less time consuming  to use stuff from others sources, I prefer to make my own from scratch ,that way if i want anything specific i can do so  as for the version... i have max 2012  you can get whatever version u want as long as it works for you,

When modeling you only use the basic tools anyway such as plane, splines the tools from editable poly  uvw  etc I could make a tutorial on how to make hair if you wish although im sure there are plenty out there already

 

From what I heard/SEEN Ehm manage to get a texture into the game but he hasn't released a tool to export stuff like that to the public yet, him and Voider are still working on it

 

Also thank you all for the kind words i really appreciate the support, you guys are way too nice  i will keep trying to improve  my male styles hopefully i will make some better ones in the future, and yes  will also try to make more qunari hair

Omg, that's like knowing your parents got your Christmas present already, but you can't have it yet.

 

 

Sooooo close. Once you manage to sucessfully get one thing back into the game, the rest should be easier. Hopefully.

All of my settings were already set to Ultra. I just tried keeping the three you mentioned and changing the rest to high as opposed to ultra. I'm about to restart to see if that fixes anything.. Or helps or makes it worse.

Your last ressort is too re-install then play ofline but i don't know if your save will work.

 

Edit : found a new way to "rollback" before patch.

It would have been cool to have the Arishoks hair or at least something similar to it. Like ok I understand not giving his horns Bioware, but why not the hair? Silly Bioware.

 

Though Adela would it be possible to say put Morrigans hair playable or would that take too much to recreate? (loves Morrigans hair)

Ok so today I discovered that apparently I suck at making hair for guys.... sorry to disappoint... i am not happy with the outcome and probably wont use these in game .. cause .. they suck...

I'm just sayin'. But this hairstyle is the most perfect hairstyle I've seen to this date. Exactly the one I'm trying so desperately to have IRL and I think it looks perfect! Doesn't suck at all and if it's possible for it to make it to the game then I'd be the happiest being on earth

More I look at Adela male haircuts and more I think it will benefit Alistair that modders take care of him.

Because I found his 3D model being a downgraded version of Cullen and he deserves better, imo :x

In my playthrough, I've seen it to just be some armors that have "glued arms". Especially the very first armor you get in Haven. Now that my male elf inquisitor has leveled up, I have no issues with the higher level armor I have.

models are fine, shoulders are still narrow in my opinion, but not broken.
