What did Bioware think when they created the armors of this game? It used to look GREAT in DAO and DAII, but in DAI it has been dulled down... Well i guess its because they had little time I dont blame them, the game is great And usually they are full of suprises.. even words on the Black Emporium

Armors in Da:O in vanilla version were bad too. But in DA:I they're even worse. The hair are teribble too, and Skyhold custamization... Eh...

I already cleared up that misinformation. And I wouldn't say it was *just* updating strings of health and such, it was some tests to determine the structure of a particular EBX file. I wrote a tool, to read it in, allow me to change values, write it back out, and package it into a distributable patch.

A distributable patch? That's a big progress.
Roughly speaking this can be done to anything? ( e.g. Modded ingame data, custom meshes, textures, gameplay tweaks)

The fast progress makes me so excited, I really can't wait.

 

Going to do Wicked Eyes and Wicked hearts... That awful formal wear and hideous bugged hat on Solas, so sad! I'm confident tho that for my next playthru (thanks to the modders) I'll be able to change their outfit for the ball.

I must agree. Every armor looks just uh, meh. Funny is, multilplayer has better armors than singleplayer, it's just wrong lol. Same is with NPCs. :/ I don't know why they screwed armors so badly.

There is about probably only a few I like for the Inquisitor(and I love the horn options for qunari but the hair they get is just :/), the companions and advisers ones are great and sucks they locked those out from us. I think many of us would have happy if we could use Blackwall, Morrigan or even Lelis tbh.

 

Really looking forward to the tools to use Adelas lovely hair, though it's been awhile since I checked though I know Adela was a looking into putting Morrigans hair available fort he Inquisitor(which would also mean Hawke since both share the same hair options I believe)

 

Also question, how do we change the PJs, I saw the picture a little back but can someone give me a link to the tool and instructions to do it?

CheatEngine used to replace the code. Not sure if that's true, Since screenshot isn't from Skyhold but Haven, where the first time you get war room cutscene character has equipment on.

can't believe i finally reached the last page. great stuff so far folks. especially Adele. would love to join your effort of adding more hairstyles to DAI and share experiences i had with adding hairstyles to DA2. all the trials and tribulations of different race skeletons, tedious weight painting and the tint maps   and the cat ears... oh the cat ears.
