Great work so far! Thanks so much for your time in this this and sharing with us!!
I wish there was a way to make my character a couple of inches taller. I am trying to see if I can do it through cheatengine. There has to be a value in there somewhere!
I just went thru the battle against the Wardens, see them fighting my Inquisition is so terrible.. Not only because I love the Wardens but also because their armors are so amazing and the npc Inquisition's armors look like pajamas with metal pieces.
I mean it: The armors are just plain awful, specially that hood that has snot nose color.
Must mod!!!
ok, I have no idea how to do this :S Lightwave is completely new to me
nothing for Blender or 3ds?
sadly no. Lightwave was only one that we could edit the meshes with and not crash the game or screw the skeleton up.
PS: I remember someone asking about using hair mods on already existing playthroughs. Yes something like The Black Emporium would be quite helpful but it isn't really necessary. A simple mesh swap would work just as well, once the tools support it that is. You could just swap the mesh of your current hairstyle with the mesh of the new hairstyle. And yes that would require some modding knowledge but i'm sure there are modders out there that could put out some easy tutorials on mesh swapping once we get to that point.
@Renmiri1 - I think is good because who ever did it just posted the links, not the tool/file, also adds more visibility to the wonderful work that all of you are doing.
Is a very well known website, maybe people looking after DAI modding info will see it and add some more modders to help the project.

Well ya, the main thing with having someone add us to a forum without ever bothering to let one of us know is that anyone that contacts this unkown guy will not get a person who knows what is going on so a talented coder or 3d artist might get a bad impression. And considering the guy didn't even bother to tell us this was there, odds of him telling us about people with questions and offers for help are.. not good
I made the nexxus admins take his page down and put our page
http://www.nexusmods...sition/mods/9/?
Asked the Nexxus mods to not give him a hard time, he probably only meant to help. He just went about it the wrong way

hm... ok...
do you have some link to where I can learn Lightwave?

Do you guys like the credits ?
Gonna wait for Eh to post his new stuff himself but is awesome ![]()
@Renmiri1 - Hahahaha I loved the last line of your credits xD You are damn right tho, and don't forget the Formal Wear and hairstyles too!
Does anyone know if you can import hair in the game yet? Can't wait for it to be real!! ![]()
for now hair is still a dream. We can import hair for static stuff though, like a statue. Moving things need a bit more time

@Renmiri - Looks great, except in the screen shot my name is misspelled @_@
My apologies for not being as active, in the middle of my finals week at college ;p Next week I should have alot more time to play around making more armors ;p
I can't wait until we get to port these in game, and mod hairs and armors into it
*heavy breathing*

Oh sorry!
I had done a page properly and then went to delete an old mod file and deleted the DAI Tools page instead so did the current page in a hurry.
Fixed your name on the credits ![]()
I used the save file facecode extractor to get the facecode from one of my saves but am lost as to how to make use of this information? Or at this stage is this part of the tool more to establish the facecode is obtainable and a way to put it to use will come later?
Can we swap models atm? I mean if i want @battlemaster armour@ to use culen's armour mesh+texture.
To say simple canwe use npc armour now? if not, what need to be done to do that? Its not about mesh rigging or smth like that, everything already done by BW:)
I asking coz i think things like hair, or NEW imported armour is very very far away from us
Maybe we can start with already-in-game stuff for that moment ![]()
People, read the front page please or read at least the post above you.
At the moment, modders can't import (most of) their works in the game.
They're still working on their toolset to do so. ![]()
Just a suggestion. It would be cool to have hairstyles from this TOR artwork.

hm... ok...

yeah LW is a bit tricky compared to other programs. but i was a complete novice before deciding to mod DA2 and it took just a few tutorials to get the ball rolling. u can find some great resources here https://www.lightwave3d.com/learn/and here http://simplylightwa...ve-tutorials/
Edit: http://daitools.free...plorer-t94.html
looks like we got a first attempt with DAI tools at importing data back into the game. i'll have to test this out myself. thanks WV
Seriously impressive work so far, guys.
@Renmiri1 Once you guys have the modding all worked out, any chance you can figure out a way to get rid of that awful hat Solas wears at the ball? ![]()
