Well I am glad to see lots of people are having fun with the texture importing
sorry i just saw this ... so we cant post them on nexus for example?
I personally wouldn't for the moment, just because of the size, also the mods are packaged with your update files, which may differ to someone elses (If they are running a different language) so its not garunteed to be compatible
does that mean that players will need to update their game too to use the mods ?
No you shouldn't need to update, all I did was fix the code so if there are new entries in the patch files (Don't exist in the core files) they will be added too.
@Renmiri - *pours her another cup* You and me both. *goes back to sipping on his*
@Chaos17 - Gonna need Ehams to answer that one. I've actually been unable to mod without replacing my update files lol.
@Adela - Don't let me stop you m'lady. Just make sure to warn people.
Silvist, you shouldn't need to replace your update files, the new patch should sit a long side the old one and it will override in game.
man im soo excited now!!! GONNA RETEXTURE EVERYTHINGGG!!! LOL its been a while since I've done retextures so im a lil rusty but clearly i wont be sleeping tonight

Be careful with that, there are a lot of formats I still don't support just yet, ie. BC1S, Uncompressed RGB, etc. Eventually I will display the pixel format in the Texture Preview window, as well as do different rendering based on the pixel format so you can see how they look properly.
damn new face textures takes a whole lot to load... been on loading screen for 6 mins now...
Endless loads are still something you have to worry about, easiest way to see if it is endless loading is have a task manager open, if the Dragon Age process drops down to around 6% CPU usage with no HDD usage, then it has gotten stuck, still can't explain why it sometimes happens.
I'm not sure if these have been brought up before, but does anyone have any information regarding the likelihood of:
1. Getting unique NPC hairstyles on player characters. Most notably, Morrigan's hair. This has been easier than adding new hairs entirely in past games, so I hoped this would be a more realistic goal.
2. Converting save files between platforms (PS4 to PC, PC to PS4, etc.).
3. This one is more of a specific request, but I'd like to make an elf character, but have it look like a human. Would it be possible to just edit the save file of a human character and replace values such that the character appears to be an elf to the game?
1. This will require mesh importing, as I have noticed that the unique characters hairs are not in the same position as all other hair, so it will not fit the player straight out.
2. Depending on what the save files have encoded in them, I dont epect to see that happen (But you never know)
3. I dont have an answer for this one.
