I've tried to remove Gaspard's mask. Yes you can see it too now. :shock:I am just walking around and climb the F-bomb.I've no idea what's happened.
It's Orlais. They have all sorts of outrageous fashions.

I have one texture. dds I needed to do it 2 times bigger. PLease can you tell me how to do that without lost quality.

So i took Solas texture and added some blush areas, worked well. All i had to do is to edit Solas texture the way i want and copy it over original texture of the character (all done in photoshop), so alpha channels are all the same and transparency too. Had to adjust new image to have the same tone and color as original one, coz i dont really understand the way materials work yet.
Saved as DDS DXT5 with interpolated alpha.
I will try to do the exact same thing tomorrow and see what happens. I just tried it with Morrigan's face and got the black face. I wonder what is going on. Maybe I need to update my nvidia dds tool?

Told ya there was a high chance he didn't have a face below the mask! Thane's model was teh same, nothing under the jacket

I am having a bit of a problem, changed the human female head texture, I wanted to do the elf female, but I cannot find it anywhere. But now the problem is, there is that same female head texture everywhere, do I have to replace it at all those places? Or just in one of the folders?

@Shantia - I believe the female elf uses the same texture as the human female. The same with the base body. I believe the meshes have the exact same UV maps.

Yeah that's what I though too
Now I just have toi know which ones to replace, because now I can see them everywhere haha, or if I just have to change it in the inquisitor folder. I will try that I think.

I put it in the inquisitor folder, and it worked!!!!! YAY I am so excited right now. I know what I will be doing all day now.

I think it would work. But the armors probably don't have the same UV maps. I haven't looked into it so I don't know, but I don't thnik they would.

Do you know anything about alpha? For hair/ eyelashes. It looks cutted off in game even 4096, it's sharp, doesn't seem like it's capable of blending.
Is it something shader related?

Thank you so much for all your hard work. Mods (and Modders) really bring out the greatness in games, and help people really enjoy and customize their gaming experience. So your efforts are really really appreciated!
Ive been stalking this forum for a while now and because I have no real experience with this I opted not to join in on the conversation. but I really want to contribute to this in my own way so here I made an artwork of what I want my inquisitor to look like (sorry if that sounds selfish lol but im really looking forward to mod the game to make this possible)

Thats due to the nature of deferred rendering, alpha blending in a deferred renderer is a very expensive task as it usually involves either doing depth peeling, OIT, or separate buffers. So they short cut it by using alpha masking for things like hair which is what you are seeing, very harsh edges.

I am so excited I am about to burst, finally I can make my own eyebrows, and choose the color of them, I always wanted to have white hair but I didn't like how the eyebrows looked with it, or I couldn't make it work anyway.

Is it a chance to add EXPORT function to that program? so i ca nexport texture right from it not swiching to other tool?
