I've just been using eyes from:
Dump\Bundles\Textures\da3\actors\baseheads\textures\eye
Has:
uh_eye_d
uh_eye_dark
You have more complete files than I do, so I'm missing quite a bit still.

Dam Adela, good looking Cullen! How'd you get his skin to appear wet like that? lol Cause that's just awesome.
I hope my IT department doesn't give me grief for tying up 100 GB of the HDD with fluff ![]()
i used the mental ray arch&design materials also with specular maps +normal
I kinda taught myself how to use 3ds max, so there's still functions I don't know about lol. Mental ray&design materials is in the material editor? I know I've seen that in the rendering options I think (i still have no idea how to use the rendering tools of 3ds max very well lol).
Yea if you have it activated it should appear in the matterial editor, thats why im using the slate editor instead of compact because its easier to see it
If you dont have the mental ray active press F10 a tab will pop up, then scroll all the way down till u see "Assign Renderer" expand that and then click on the dotted button and choose mental ray
Yea I don't see that listed in the slade editor. My version is a student edition, so I figured it should have everything.
Or do you mean something else activated?
Awesome work !
I might try to bring solas to Second Life my opensim place like I did with Thane.

I"m seeing production, material editor, and active shade. When I clicked on the dot I saw Nvidia mental ray..is that the same?
I went to:
C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\2013 - 64bit\ENU\en-US\plugcfg
I saw a file there named mentalray_fg_presets.ini. Which sounds like the plugin.
Also prior to your directions, the Assign render had a lock by it. I had to unlock it in order to change stuff.
Edit:
Rofl..I changed all of them to mental ray..now it shows up...wtf hahaha.
I do have some trouble with rigging though ![]()

yea click on the production one and switchit to Nvidia mental ray it will change on the locked on as well
I do have some trouble with rigging though
Lol i think everyone does, its not my favorite thing to do thats for sure
Rigging is the hardest thing to do in modeling, besides weight painting. Sure weight painting looks easy, but on complex meshes..the trial and error is tedious.
That's why I typically use premade skeletons. I haven't actually made my own character skeleton from scratch. I think I made a limb once, but that was the extent of it.
@Adela - Thanks for the tips, I got it working now ^^ Any idea where the specular map goes? Options are different from what I'm used to.
hmm there migh be some problems with the hair textures.... i cant find Cullens and the defuse ones are all white... wtf..

plug it in the reflection and Glossiness map
Yea, its cause of the way the CC works. It takes some default texture, and applies shaders to it to color it. At least that would be how I understand it. I could be wrong. I still don't have Cullen extracted either, so I can't really help you there.
For Cassandra, I found her hair texture inside of her texture folder. Though I saw other hair textures of different characters in the hair folder..so I'm not sure why those are there.
Also another question for you. Next to the Diffuse section i see color. Is that the spot I slap the texture? I also typically choose bitmap...not sure if that's the right option to choose either rofl.
Ugh, also when I do clear view on the material editor, the stupid program crashes...wtf. Is there a better way to sort through the material editor without having a bunch of texture links stacked on top of each other?
Woot, finally Cullen decided to show up hahaha.
yea u can do a bitmap on the defuse and plug it in
By clear view do u mean expand the window? If so im not sure why it would crash...
i also got cass textures and cole but no one else...
No i mean like, let me do a screen shot.
See how these are all on the material screen?
I used to go to the Edit button, and click "clear view". But it crashes now ![]()

These are the current textures I have:

ok so what do i use to extract ?
Having problems with
DAIMeshConverter.exe <RESDir> <OutDir> true 10
What are you trying to extract? Texture or meshes?
Just hold and drag the mouse button and select them all and press delete
mesh
First off:
Spoiler Alert!
To answer your question use this line:
DAIMeshConverter "D:\Temp\DAI\Dump\Bundles\Res" "D:\Temp\DAI\Dump\Bundles\Meshes" true 10
Change the directory to match yours.
I found this hair in the actor folder:
