Ah ok, my bad i thought for now that only textures can be uploaded into the game, i saw the nug pic you posted but i thought that was just you testing it  with a new version of the tool and would release it later for others to test it as well.

 

Btw could we change stats on armors and weapons?  Like say i want a staff to have 500 DPS or something crazy like that?

 

Also may I ask what is the progress  of mesh  importing?

 

Mesh importing is still a whiles away, still far too many unknowns to be able to successfully do it, even unknown vertex types still remain, then its using a format that has all the required vertex types as necessary, how to represent them in 3dsmax, ie. 3 x tint colors per vertex + vertex color. Then need to see what assets need to be changed to reflect new mesh contents, so still lots of hurdles to overcome. exporting data is much easier than repimporting, because on export, u can usually ignore the unknown without too much loss of data, but on import, you can't, and the frostbite files love to contain all sorts of offsets, so you change the data in one location, you need to change all the offsets in others.

@Renmiri - The elf?  As in male elf?  The main character of Chronicles is a "half" elf named Tanis ;p.  In his group there's a high elf by the name of Laurana.

 

Here's Tanis with a beard (with I think Goldmoon)  :D

Just for giggles my pen name "Silvist" is from the Silvanesti elves (who I believe in D&D are the Grey Elves), and also from the character Silvara..lover to Gilthanus..brother to Laurana ^^

now with everything nicely stored in our db, we can do some pretty cool searches already, whoever understands how to use SQL can use this as universal search^^

Hiya!

Um I was curious as I want to try to mod for DAI it has been a while now since I've really modded anything game related the last game I really modded for was Sims 3,but my question is as I'm rather curious if this even possible to like

Lets say swapping schematics with the tools we have atm. For instance lets say I have one staff schematic,but I wanted to make the sentinel staff schematic into the current schematic I have or to even add schematics into the store vendors??? 

 

 

Adding schematics to stores: Possibly, changing one in your own inventory: Not possible yet. To add to store, you will need to have knowledge in using hex editor.

You can change an existing schematic in a store into another schematic using Cheat Engine's Store Editor (I managed to follow the instructions to do so myself, and it works!) as well as change stats and/or appearance on weapons and armor using it's Inventory Editor (I don't have this down yet, I managed to change a chest piece in my inventory to the appearance of one I couldn't use yet because of level restrictions, and changed the armor amount on another chest piece, but somehow managed to bork all weapons in my inventory - equipped and not - so that their DPS was changed to Armor [including Bianca] and had to go back to a save before I made that change.)

 

There's also a table for Cheat Engine that will allow you to toggle walk/run/jog. (second post on page 18)

 

You can merge the two tables, but olegbl has permission to put the walk/run/jog table in with the main one, as well, so he may be updating that soon.

I saw it somewhere in the forum http://daitools.free...s.org/index.php

 

and someone uploadet all dds files from the tattoos ingame. Don't know where anymore...sorry...but you could use the search function :)

Thanks but deal tahta i need reverse path) I mean i dont need dds, i need to find path where i can replace it :) 

 

Sorry for my english i mean i need to find it in importing tool, not in .sb file to export :)

same here for me because i tryed it ;) But ...they wrote the path's .. :) so it will be easy :)

bad that I don't know anymore. I tried so much, to import new textures. an it didn't worked. So i gived up....I deleted the tools and I'm waiting^^

Maybe i blind but i already explored that folder 100 times, and i can find only 2 male huwan tatoos there but not those 4 which character creation have..

I read it, i find textures u talked about, i just think its not aLL of them there.

 

But now i think maybe it should be like that, just not EACH tatoo has unique texture. So theres only 2 textures for human tatoos, but tattoos 4 itself :)

Thats true I thought the same, that there are not all, but....I don't finished it...so...I cant help you anymore now :(

That's a lot of recipes. O.o

 

It looks like you could unlock every schematic through Cheat Engine, and get them out of the way, but using it looks a bit too cumbersome for me, and I'd be worried about it ruining my save somehow.

 

I don't mind farming them from chests, I just wanted to know when I could stop farming them.  Thanks!
