Eyes are going to be more shaders than textures, since individual parts of the yes can be recolored in the character editor.

I see, that explains why the eye texture was minimal and darkish. So if I wanted to make bigger eyes, I would have to add new textures and new shaders? Or just change the eye mesh.

Changing the eye mesh would be sufficient I suspect, but at this point that cannot be done.

Tried to see if I could get Adela's files to work for a new game - once I moved cas_01.cas into patch2 > Data, instead of patch2 > Data > patch2 > Data, the game at least opened. After I selected my race and class and default world state though, I got a regular loading screen then... it just sat on a black loading screen forever.
I will figure this out damn it...
Renmiri1 made a zip file cause i forgot to zip it lol, but if endless loading occurs remove the patch from the update folder and place it temporarily on the desktop, and then start the game make your character without the mod then after you reach a point in the prologue where u can save the game do that, then exit DA and put the patch back into the update folder then load your game and you should see the changes
sadly sometimes it doesn't work on the CC and sometimes it does
Shantia actually did it the smart way witch always loads in the cc and doesn't give a black or a multicolored face cause she place the texture in the complexions.. I on the other hand replaced the main face texture, Ill see if i can put it in the complexions instead

Weather you knew what you were doing or not the fact is, you did it right. So far with ur face texture i never got a black face or a multicolored face at all and im pretty far in the game, and the advantage to yours is that in can load in CC quite fast

Shantia, I just searched 30 pages back, and I don't see a link for your texture - did you post one, or only share with Adela by PM? I love your eyebrows and lips, and would LOVE to be able to see how that texture looks on an elf for my 3rd playthrough. :-)

I did the same, and had the same issues as well. I have been unable to to test the file, be it on a new character or a pre-existing one. If anyone finds a work around, please let me know. ![]()

Yup, it didn't work for me either, the game did not load at first. Just tried to do what abadstar did and it loaded but again constant black screen before cc. Ill try what Adela suggested to create browless face first and see how it works in the game.

also make sure you guys have the latest patch update from bioware that may be another reason why its not working one way or the other

I can confirm that I tried creating a face without brows then loaded a texture and it worked! The eyebrows look really pretty
except now my elf has dark behind the ears and the dark hair texture where the hair starts on her forehead.
Which is no biggie, I'll just make her dark-haired.

The modder seems to give good tutorial that maybe you could apply for Adela texture.
But beware that you can only apply one mod at a time unless you combine these textures swap into 1 only.

I can deal with what I have, and eventually when I have the time, will do my own, as I did with hair porting in DA:O ![]()

I though you're searching a tutorial or some guidance to "how to apply the textures with a patch" and I though that guy tutorial for his mod could help you to apply a texture patch. Sorry, if I sound confusing *shy*

Only one "Patch" folder --> Unmodded game
save a copy of that patch folder somewhere. To uninstall any mod you will need the "Data" folder from it.
Any other folder besides the "Patch" folder and the "Flames and DEluxe" folders are mods

Doran's mustache is a mesh.. witch currently cant be edited... at the moment, maybe in the near future? but for now i would suggest to put on a full on opacity map on his mustache mesh and see if that helps im not 100% sure tho

Dorian's facial hair does share PC's textures, so full opacity could affect all beards in the game. I can't even find his moustache mesh ![]()

This mod that esCanor created is marvelous, he totally should publish at Nexus!
Also the new version of the Tool is really great, being able to browse thru the textures makes modding much easier, thank you so very much.
