Would anyone here be willing to help me run some tests in multiplayer this weekend? It would involve lots of restarting and probably 5-10minutes on a map. Im not exactly sure how many tests I would need to run but it would probably 30 or more. I wouldn't need a full group, mic etc not required and you can stay for as long as you wish. Periods of downtime due to crashes/blue screens and or cats may appear. Thanks in advance ![]()

Sounds like your planning on doing packet captures or something of that nature, I may be able to assist, depending on what time

Actually Im testing how the game performs on Windows 10 Technical Preview with a focus on graphic options from in-game, user.cfg and Nvidia Control Panel. Sorry for the confusion.
Edit. It appears I overestimated how many tests I would need to run in my original post. I should only need 21.

I was wondering; On the prequels we had a .GDA file, among many things, we could change the equipment that anyone would wear at a certain moment of the game by replacing the item codes.
With DAI will we be getting something similar?

wouldn't we get banned for using Mp items in sp tho?
No people did that on ME3 with Voiders tool.
Bioware doesn't want cheating, appearance mods are harmless

Ok, you wonderful people. Please help me figure out what this is, unless you already know.. and if that's the case, please tell me in advance if it's useless for me to try to fix it. (I did not scan in the prior 80 something pages for this, maybe you all have figured it out already and can just tell me.. or say you share my pain.) Monday I want to start working on a new face texture... and I am aware that the female elves and humans share the same face texture, correct? But, if it's the mesh.. I'm kind of screwed.
Is this the texture or the mesh doing this? It drives me ABSOLUTELY INSANE. I can never get rid of it, regardless of the complexion or mouth shape used, whether the mouth is positioned high or low on the face, pushed in or out... it's so irritating. Most of the time it shows in game as well, only rarely you can not see it in certain lighting. It seems stronger on the elves than it does on the humans.
This ridge... or fold.. or whatever the heck it is on the female lips? It looks like they ripped off the lips, pulled them up, and then tacked them back in place.

I know what you mean. It's the normal map.
The area circled in red, I edited out those parts and that ridge/fold thing is gone.

Thank you for letting me know, and at least I have a clue where to begin... of course, that is once I've figured out how to use the tool, extract the textures, etc etc. Gotta start somewhere ![]()

Can it be in shaders?
As everyone ignoring u, I guess ur best option to ask some1 upload hawkes tatoo texture from da2. I haven't da2 on my pc so I can't help here.
I also spent some time trying find Hawks tatoo in tool, it's not there. At least not in normal category like all other textures.

After that wonderful closure of the first meeting with Corypheus, where the lonely Inquisitor makes his/her way thru the snow (could be longer than that, is one of my favorite parts in game), is when I really fell in love with this game.
I got the feeling that it would be more personal than the two previous Dragon Age, and then I first got into the cutscene in which Solas guides the Inquisitor to Skyhold; I was amazed to have my own castle! Immediately I saw myself modding everything there, to make it really my own place with my character's personality.
I'm probably not finished yet, but I'm satisfied with how it looks for now, time to move on to another textures. I know, too many pictures, but I figured that this is the modding thread, and the authors of the tool are making it so we can make some nice mods, might as well show it!

I'm awake of some flaws, but make a patch with over 60 textures adding them one by one repeatedly is not cool -.- I will fix them when I make my final patch for Skyhold.
Everything I did above is only possible thanks to the wonderful guys who are making the Tool for us, thank you is never enough!

Hi, i just wanted to share a program for textures that I have been using for my portfolio. I don't know if it was mentioned on here buts its called NDO by quixel.
It can convert diffuse textures to normals, specular, etc. It's a really useful program and there are other programs such as ddo as well that does really awesome textures to objects and characters.
http://quixel.se/use...=gettingstarted
hope this helps you guys!
