We are still a while away from that sort of thing, animations are still completely unknown. And we cannot replace meshes or skeletons. So until we reach that point we cannot make it a priority.

Hm...I don't want to be a pain. But I know someone a while ago did a tattoo texture for hawke based on some of the default tattoos in DA2 for hawke. And I was wondering if they'd make that available on the nexus. (if its possible to load in with the current DAI mod tool)
mostly this particular tattoo...
If not, that's ok. I don't want to be a pain on you guys, seeing as you are all working so hard.

I'm not 100% certain but pretty sure that someone on this thread did post a pic of that tattoo in DAI. You'd have to trawl through all the pages in the thread and PM the original poster though. I checked the Nexus, it's not there.

Can DAIModdingTool by Ehamloptiran extract resources (meshes, textures)? I really like ho organized and categorized the tool is but seems to be unable to find how to extract stuff out of there.

Hmm, so I finally got the new DAI Modding tool, with the mod manager, and creating patches work fine, merging them works fine. But when I go into the game I get stuck in a loading screen, this never happened before with the older tool, I even tried making a patch with the same textures as before, so it's not that either, not sure what's going on ![]()

I spoke to Ottemis and he/she said they'd be happy to put up on nexus the dragon age 2 tattoos, but first they wanted to see if they could add a few more to make the pack a little bigger. I'm a happy gamer now. ![]()

This is something we are still working out, the best way to navigate and to display data, as ultimately what u see in DAI modding tools has been highly modified from how its actually stored, which causes more grief on patch creation, so there will always be pros and cons with the ultimate approach we come up with
