Finally! I am now putting up my female complexion for download. It works on the human, elf and dwarf faces. Qunari is coming too Use the mod manager to merge with your other mods. This replaces the 3rd complexion in the cc, not sure what happens if you use 2 mods that replaces that. I hope you will like it, I haven't experienced any blackfaces with this one so hopefully it is fixed. And if you do use the mod I'd love to see your inquisitor, just pm me the pic, if you want to

I am pretty sure I used the hm_hed_inq_d when I worked on my male texture, but I could be wrong. It is the 3rd complexion in the cc.

 

That's the one I replace because it doesn't seem like other characters use it but you can use any face texture as your starting point. They all fit all the heads.

I was thinking about it but I didn't want to take it seriously. The amount of wips show is no more or less than any other mods such as tattoos or inquisitor pajamas. I was curious to see if his complaint was warranted but I flapped through more than a week's worth of pages to find only two picture of the guy and they were under spoiler tags. those same pictures of solas hasn't been posted without spoiler tags since before christmas and one public one on box day. That was about 35-ish pages ago.

I was curious to see if his complaint was warranted but I flapped through more than a week's worth of pages to find only two picture of the guy and they were under spoiler tags. those same pictures of solas hasn't been posted without spoiler tags since before christmas and one public one on box day. Do all of you use PS, or does someone here use GIMP? I was trying to delete one of the tattoos within the channels to replace it with one I made, but GIMP won't allow it for some reason, and I can't seem to unlock it. I can't seem to open a channel dialogue, nor will it let me right click on the channel thumb to Delete it, it's greyed out.

I have a question; If you want to make a completely different texture on the PJ's, how do you make the s and t files so that they don't look wierd? Can you convert the d-file into looking like them in GIMP somehow or do you have to create them yourself?

ah, okay... Hm... Have you tried searching on Google? What I think you can do, what I've done to a similiar texture in the past, is that you separate the original texture, remove one of the channels that comes from the separated picture and then compose it back together. I think that's how I did it, anyhow

wait, so it could work if you had the .dds files you could create your own patch and it would work?

What?! ooooh! because the .dds merges with your game's patch. This should be announced or something. Some mods has dds files available to the public.

Yeah and what I could find was talking about dialogues and masks and it was not what I wanted to do. I will figure it out eventually.

Also edited where the eyeshadow area is, I always thought the eyeshadow went a bit too low on the qunari.

This makes me want to change the eyeliner for the other races, think I'll try thick liner on the top only, as that is my fave eyeliner wish me luck

I made one tattoo jsut to try, I just put a face texture under to see where to place.

 

As for the face texture I use hf_hed_inq, because hf_hed_bas also alters the male 1st complexion.

And for the last complexion of the females it is the dwarf female texture.

 

Thanks a lot for this; more people sharing not only what they've done but how they did it is what DAI modding really needs at the moment imo.

There are a lot of Solas fans here - not the most polite thing to come into a thread about Modding, and *complain about pictures of a MOD to alter Solas' sweater, and call him GAY, using it as a slur. Unless you meant GUY, in which case you might want to change it before someone gets really angry with you.

 

Kinda angry with you myself, actually. This has (mostly) been a place of positivity and lack of character bashing, and here you come to spoil it.
