I just was wondering?
Personally I dont now if I would. I mean traveling across the galaxy seems amazing and all but I think about it the same way I think about the military today and I dont think Im joining anytime soon.
Would you join the Systems Alliance?

I would. I'm actually a poolee for the Marines right now. I go to boot camp in October. Anyways, I would because space travel seems interesting and I wouldn't mind shooting a Geth or two. I'm like Ashley. My dad was in the military, my grandpa was in the military, my aunt is in the military, my aunts husband is in the military. I come from a military family. So I guess it depends.

Well in the ME universe I'd much rather be off world, especially with the free gene therapy. Also theres the fact that humanity isn't in much conflict, if you get assigned to a garrison on one of the capitals like Terra nova not that much is going to threaten you.

If only to see space and the other alien races it would be worth it.

Those are good points. Plus id hate to see how much colleges cost in the ME universe

Just avoid the Salarian colleges. You'd go crazy there. Asari universities on the other hand... Although I think Krogan colleges would probably cost you an arm and a leg... literally.
Systems Alliance? That would probably be the best bet to get into space for most people. Of course, you could also opt to join mercenary groups or pirate bands.

I wouldn't. I'm not inclined to that sort of work.

Probably. Though I'm not crazy about serving on a cramped ship I think it would be worth it in the long run.

I'd live on the citadel if I could

Yep. Probably the navy though. Seems like a lot of marines get crap assignments. I didn't sign up to guard Eden Prime.

I'm undecided. On the one hand I abhor real-life violence, but from what we know about Nirali Bhatia and from the Binary Helix guy on Noveria, people who sign up to the Systems Alliance can receive free higher education and gene therapy. Those are pretty big perks, especially if you come from a less fortunate socio-economic background.

In a second.

no, probably not. My Dad was a military man (Navy, Air Force AND Army), so I have a lot of respect for people that are willing to do that, but I know enough about it that I know I definitely don't have the right temperament.
But that's what video games are for, right?

I'd get onto the Citadel...then get off before the Reaper attacks.

The main problem with Asari Universities is that every course lasts atleast 50 years
.
But I'd probably go to the Citadel, but I imagine it's quite an expensive place to live.
