 I went to redeem my code for the terminus armor, and am stuck at the area where you have to "download" the armor, I don't really understand what this means or why it needs to be on your computer but regardless the fact that I am using a mac is blocking me from getting my armor, because the application or whatever it may be was not made for the mac, I don't want to go try this on my computer now because of the note that said 'Redeeming your code will only work once,' so I am presuming that now that I am this far in I can't go switch to my PC and start over. Please Help! I would be unbelievably upset if I was unable to obtain my armor and weapon.

it should be unlocked to your EA profile thing, check the site here. on the side profile-"your registered game promotions". im not sure about it working on mac's but you should still be able to download it to a PC if it doesnt.

What if you redeemed a code meant for a Xbox360 and instead it added it for a mac/pc on the website?

im sooo confused i think game stop gave me a PC code and i need a 360 code wtf?

I too was given a "PC" code rather than a 360 marketplace download code. I went through the steps that Gamestop put into their email, and it ended up having me download an exe for the PC version of Mass Effect 2. Blah. I'm sure that people will complain, and they will realize their mistake and send out a new code for the ppl who they messed up. I for one am gonna call and ask what's up.

It's all linked to your gamertag if it's the same as the registered one to the site with your email.

So if we have the same email address for our Xbox Live accounts as for our EA accounts, we can redeem the code here and still receive the items in game?

I registered the game, but when I go to the thing to download it where it warns you this is the one time you can, it shows my PS3 only because I have only registered DA:O for that system previously. Despite the fact that it shows I have registered ME2, when I go to "my games" on the right it only says Dragon Age. What the heck am I supposed to do? Am I supposed to create a new account? I don't get it.

Steps (from gamestop email):

I don't understand this process at all, I worry it's already screwed up for me about five different ways. First it offers me an exe download like that other guy, then I can't attach my gamertag to this account which I just made. Maybe I already made an EA account in the past but forgot about it. Was I supposed to input the email I registered my tag with when I got live? Hell I don't even remember that address.

Please help if you can, is there some sort of customer service I could speak with? I'm getting very frustrated and very concerned.

I too am getting a little concerned.  And frustrated (partly due to the fact that I've still got a crapload of homework to do tonight...stupid Multivar...).

I'm going to call and ask about this stuff.   The other thing is that I ordered it online, and chose the cheap route, and got the free shipping...snail mail anyone?

My Gamertag will not link with my bioware account so I am unable to use the DLC even though its all on the same email....

I think I kinda get it. I need to somehow get "Add Persona" to work for my Live ID here. I just get this though:

I have Mass Effect 2 loaded up in my 360, and I'm logged in on my 360. No e-mail has been sent to my Live ID's e-mail address. I believe a step is missing.



Really, you should've just given straightforward codes to DL the stuff through the XBox's "Redeem Code" functionality. All this stuff serves only to confuse the players. What if somebody doesn't even HAVE a computer, but has a 360? I would never do something so convoluted in any of the games I ever code for.



Regardless... What do I have to do to get that e-mail to be sent? I'm sure there's some setting or something in the 360 I have to allow temporarily or something stupid like that...

After I redeemed the code, it didn't give me the opportunity to choose to download it via Xbox. It went straight to the PC download part, the .exe file. And my email is set up the same for all of the following: XBL account, Windows Live (passport thingy used on Xbox.com), my EA account, and the new Bioware site account. HOPEFULLY things aren't too screwed up.

this whole situation is so unprofessional of bioware...very disappointed.....what good is the code for the dl when its on my pc........not my 360......u people r stupid..what if i didnt own a computer

Jeez, just reading all this is freaking me out. I hope i dont lose my pre orders and cerberus network stuff. what a load of horsecrap they put us thorught. having to jump through hoops to get our gear

Ok I looked it up and it's screwed up, I log into my live account at xbox.com with this really old email and password and I don't have access to that email anymore. My current email is what's listed under my contact information once I log in there but I reiterate it's not what I log in with and I can't seem to find a way to change it so it is. Am I just hosed? Did I just blow my code by signing up here with my current email and inputting the code?

I think I need to speak with a customer service representative, how can I do that?

Every other game i reserved and got a bonus code for . I just logged into my xbox and input the code. And downloaded to my xbox. why the hell do i have to go through EA to get my gun and armor. I just don't understand

Just got the game, just registered on here (same as my XBL email) but when I log onto ME2, I cant get the download for my Terminus Gear. I went to double-check my login on my 360, but I can't pull up the info. I'm wondering if my brother used his login for my EA account which its now locked into. Any way to double-check?

I tried going into my profile on the 360, edit profile, privacy settings, partner marketing, and changing the selection to "Opt In", then reloading the game, logging out of my profile, and logging back in to see if that would generate the e-mail. That did not work. I have set my setting back to "Opt Out". I don't see how any of the other settings anywhere, from profile to system settings, to preferences, ect... could effect your game knowing to send me some stupid e-mail. Please advise.
