2. I was asked to log into the EA network, and I supplied the email and password I used to create my EA/Bioware account when I first played Dragon Age (I played that on my PC).

4. I was then taken to a menu page that showed "New Game", "Extras", and "New Content Available".
5. I went into the "New Content Available" menu item, and saw all the items I was entitled to as part of my ME2 pre-order and my purchase of Dragon Age.
6. I chose each one to download them into my 360.

Note that I did all of this on my Xbox 360, and not by going to the masseffect.com website on my PC.

The problem a lot of us are having is that we were never prompted to put in the email address on initial boot up and there is no way to change it. I activated mine on the PC because the card said I could. Now I'm completely mired in this junk.

the card activates both the PC and Xbox, to find out wheter your ea account has your gamertag on it or not, go to ea.com, log in at the bottom of the screen, and click on your name, then check the PERSONAS section, if you dont see your gamer tag, try to add it using the Add Persona button, If it fails, try another EA Email, or result to my post on the previous board.

OK, I'm not sure if I did this right. I have the ME2 CE for Xbox360, I started ME2, it asked for my Cerberus code and I entered it, then it gave me access to the Dragon Age armor and Normandy Crash Site. However, it never asked me for my EA login details...Is that a problem? One other question, should the Inferno Armor just show up as DLC for me or am I supposed to get a code to enter for it? I pre-ordered the game from Amazon.com and as far as I know that means I should get the Inferno armor, right?

why the confusion? all you needed to do was give a a code to enter on our XBOX360's now my code is screwed because I followed the directions that came along with the code and that was to sighn up on this website before loading the disc. Very poorly done for a promo and you clearly did this to increase traffic to your website. Shame on you I have not even played the game yet and I'm already feeling screwed over. God I'm so mad now.

Are you serious? All because EA wants to use their own code redeeming system so many of us are now screwed out of the CE armor? I demand another code for my XBOX 360 copy of the game!

In terms of the inferno armor no clue in terms of the dragon age or terminus armor and normandy crash site do this as this worked best for me. type your redeem codes in on masseffect.com then back out of the game to your xbox 360 dashboard wait about 3-5 minutes re boot mass effect 2,,,it should then show on your main menu "new content available" their you go you have your armors.

Secondly why is it that EA does not provide a phone number on its website that you can call so I can yell at them for their BS account linking ****.

the thing is i followed the instruction and made a completely new account not using my EA login on this bioware site. so how does this get connected to my ea account? i just dont understand that. my ea account is connected with my xbox live gamertag. and i dont even know what EA email is on my xbox it auto signed me in since i have more then one EA game. why couldnt they just do what they did with dragon age? just redeem it on the ****ing game. should have never followed the instructions on that stupid promo.

well i'm not quite sure what i'm doing wrong, but I've checked with the EA account and that email is the same as my xbox live, it appears my gamer tag is also linked, I have activated the armor on the social site, it appears as redeemed, yet i can't download it in game.

That's what we get for FOLLOWING directions that were included on the card with the code. SCREWED!!! Was it really that hard to just have an option available on the Xbox 360, under New Content WITHIN the game, to enter the Code? REALLY? Simply Unbelievable!!!! Now What? I say GIVE US ANOTHER CODE!!!! Let me take my receipt to GameStop or wherever we received our PRE ORDER and GIVE ME ANOTHER CODE!!!!

xbox requires a windows live id and my second email is yahoo

i will also send this to you personally, but you should be able to make your yahoo account count as a windows live. mine is a cox email and xbox uses it as a windows one.

Oh yea but you can still buy access to the content for 1200 MS points nice one ......

Lets see 1600 MS points = 20 Bucks so I wonder how much they will gain financially from this in the end and if that was the main reason for the confusion.

I agree this S**T needs to be fixed now!!!!! I know its just my anger talking but im considering taking this headache back to gamestop and trading it in for something else.

I just entered the code like the email said....a file download to my computer....and thats it. I see nothing on my 360 and Im about to scream in anger cuz I think my promo code is no longer good.



I pre-ordered my copy 3 mouths ahead just for this f*** code I followed the instruction to the letter just to get screwed. Now I bet this will be next to impossible to fix contacting EA customer service.

OMG! I go to the EA.Com website to "Link" my Xbox 360 Account. Under the heading, "EXISTING Xbox Live Gamertag" (Notice it says EXISTING, emphasis mine). So I put in my EXISTING Xbox360 Live Gamertag and guess what it tells me?...."Sorry, that Xbox LIVE Gamertag has already been taken. Please try another one." Uhm, ALREADY BEEN TAKEN? As in EXISTING? Are these people for real??? Now I can't even Link my Xbox EXISTING Gamertag because it ALREADY EXISTS??? Wow!!!
