I don't normally use forums but I figured I should Share this.
If you Save just before looting a chest or enemy body and haven't looked inside yet.
you can reroll the drop by loading the save before hand.
I find this helpful when searching for Schematics for weapons and armor.
I've done this on Xbox 360 so others will need to confirm if it works on other platforms.
Only works on chests with random loot.
Some chests have fixed loot, or at least partially fixed loot. E.g. loot from killing dragons.
Still that something as I believe their far more chest with out such fix sets to them.
Here's an area where you can "farm" for schematics. No saving required, enter and exit zone at will.
Dude, that's nothing.
If you go to the area in crestwood for example where there is a locked door.
Inside you will find a chest with level 2 schematic and a normal item, if you only take the schematic and leave the item (always leave the item), then go back to base, then return again, a new schematic is there, but for ultra abuse::
Also in that shack you will find a amulet of power for your main character and another item. If you only take the amulet of power, go back to base, then return to crestwood the amulet of power has respawned, thus infinite skills.
Now I've did this, but decided to only use one amulet of power, since I don't want to ruin my playthrough with ultimited exploits, but it's possible anyway.
