Compensation for poor gaming experience

So what kind of compensation can we expect for this incomplete product? I for one would like to be at least refunded for that bonus content that they have failed to deliver. Maybe a partial refund regarding the rest of the game, for all those poor souls who paid 60 bucks for literally NO product.
Thoughts?

If you hate it so much, maybe you can contact the customer service people of wherever you bought it and get a refund. It's been known to happen.

I don't consider this game to be anywhere close to perfect, but I think I got my money's worth and then some. Maybe it helps that I've played some truly awful games in my life, so I can appreciate the above average ones that much more (although I admit I could do without the glitches...).

Sounds like the OP is just complaining. Yeah, I had a bug I want fixed, and I demand they fix it. I'm going to cry about it unless they faff about, or give an ETA that's wrong.

I'm really glad your game works, but then again, you are not the center of the world and are not the entire player base. A lot of people are having major problems, and if you think this is how a game should be when it's released, you need to think again.

Dude, you're not the entire player base. There are a multitude of game breaking bugs. Do you know what that means? That means a lot of customers who paid 60+ for this game CAN'T play it. It's not a bunch of petty cosmetic bugs.

My suggestion still stands, and getting a refund if possible would solve his problem. They are working on the bugs and problems but these things take time.

Dear OP
U created an account and surprise surpise, your first ever post is a thread about how horrible the game is! oh.. like the rest of us don't already know what kind of 'garbage' this game is.
My thought, pay good money and sue the the company for 'false advertising'. May the Maker help u to win because we all know how expensive lawyer's fees are and you may lose more than the $60 u paid for.
Just a sugesstion.

Neither are you, but you seem to demand everyone stop and pay attention. Make the ones in charge aware and get them fixed, stop crying and demanding favors. Act like an adult.

Well you can't tell, but my first several posts were actually trying to figure out where the hell the bonus content I paid 10 dollars for is. Took a while before i could even figure out what the issue was. But yes, I'm mad, and yes, I know you know how bad the game is. That's why i'm asking what kind of compensation we could expect.

People, please stop pretending that game doesn't have bugs.
Don't you ever check the TECHNICAL SUPPORT FORUM ?
There're like 145+ pages of bugs reports whatever the plateform is!
Seriously, stop loving blindlessly, it won't help the dev to improve but instead make them lazy.
I want Bioware to continue to improve but not loose the roots of DAO by also delivering a "polished" game.

I'm trying to stand up for the players who can't even play the game right now. I haven't demanded anything, thank you very much. You're the one attacking me.
Are you saying disabled people shouldn't be able to play the game? Are you saying disabled people who bought the game and can't play it because of Bioware's decisions shouldn't be compensated or refunded? It really sounds like you only care that your gaming experience has been great, and that everybody else can go shove a stick up their butt.
You need to act like an adult, and think about people other than yourself for once.

I want a full refund for them lying about the game features and especially the demo, like the quests in crestwood, using keep there and attack on village, etc. This game really sucks, just grind, no substance to any quests other than main story. Unlike in DAO where each section had it's own quests and story and the end of game the results of those actions, like the dalish vs werewolves, darkspawn vs dwarves, redcliff and zombies, etc. Here all the other zones only serve as getting points to further the main story, whatever you do or don't do has no effect on the end game. Also getting allies does nothing. Full refund. Class action lawsuit.

I'd say the bugs are actually worse than Skyrim. DA:I has crashed on me more times in these first two weeks than Skyrim did in the first two months.

So what kind of compensation can we expect for this incomplete product? I paid good money for certain features that I have not seen a single byte of. And I feel lucky that I can even play the game at all!! Every single platform this game was launched on has such a large amount of game breaking bugs that it's ridiculous. This game was not ready to be released.

Depending on the legal system where you are, you could return it for a full refund. In the UK, the Sale of Goods Act means that if you purchase a broken product, which isn't fit for use, you can return it to the retailer for a refund. Since Bioware/EA don't have your money, it's not like they are obliged to give you something (if you bought it through Origin you could log a call for a refund though as long as you haven't clocked up over a certain number of hours in it though).
So rather than demanding a refund or compensation, either return it (if you have that right) or speak to the people you purchased it from for selling a broken product. If your DVD player is broken, you return it to the point of sale - you don't spam Sony's forums demanding that a company who weren't involved in the contract of sale compensate you for it.

Game has never crashed for me. Not once.
Not saying you're lying btw, I just find it peculiar.

If you aren't happy with the product you bought, call customer service and ask for a refund. If by creating a thread on a message board, you are hoping to drum up enough support to create the desire from EA to refund money to everyone who bought the game, it's not going to happen. The reality is that the best that you are going to get is an apology from a PR person and a personal refund if you contact customer service.

well, I doubt there will be anything forthcoming. But for DA2, thos who bought early (like the first week or somethign) got ME2 for free. I took advantage of that, and I have to say, it was a really nice gift. I stepped back, picked up ME1 and played it first, and ended up loving the series. I even enjoyed ME3, for the most part.
so you never know...
