I'm usually loath to get anyone else's Focus powers since I keep thinking that only one such power can be used at a time, and since I usually make my big glowy rift of doom DOT or obliterate everything, I'm just wondering.  If everyone builds up their own focus store, well, that's a big difference.

All party members charge focus at the same time. Meaning, the whole party generates focus for everyone.

 

But, each party member will only deplete their own focus pool when using their limit break, or whatever you want to call it.

 

Example: Dorian uses Haste to jack up my party at the start, then Sera throws out Thousand Cuts to kill the biggest baddie. My Inquisitor still has her full focus bar for the next fight, while I save Cassandra's for a real "oh ****" moment. But in the meantime, Dorian and Sera start regenerating their personal focus pools from the whole party's attacks and combos.

Bloody hell, do you know how hard is is to find power slot space on these characters?   Sigh.   Now I gotta consider their Focus attacks too.
