When you play perilous and open a few chests on that difficulty, if you go and open some boxes out of the store is the "item level" higher when you do that overall than if you did it after playing routine?
Do you...or does it feel like.

If you play on perilous does it seem like the after the game if you buy a large chest, that the "item level" on the weapons you get are higher than if you play a routine and buy a large chest in the store after the game is over.

Nope. That's not how RNG works, mate.

But then again, RNG seems rather weirdo in this game.
Evidence 1: the Superb Rune flood of the week end.

It seems we're getting all the same RNG threads here that we got in the ME3MP section back in the day...

I've already tried chicken sacrifices - they don't work. I had to throw away all the bones. I will try PuGs next.

I have gotten superb runes since shortly after launch. Most of them are just sitting there. I now break down everything below superb.

The RNG demands the blood of your first child.

I opened for 10 k chests on friday or saturday evening, and got 6 superb runes and one unique medium level dagger. I may have received around 10 purples overall in MP. I know, small sample size, yaddi-yadda, but it just felt very un-random!
I am stashing those Superbs, and using master runes on my current weapons, since those aren´t great.

Goats.
You gotta paint RNG's holdings with goat's blood, man.
Did the Avvar teach you nothing?

Perhaps your prestige level factors in RNG drops, so it may seem that you get better gear as the week goes on? I certainly have, though thats not much to go on.
No, it doesn't.

Rng are sometimes broken, and you can get streaks of good loot and streaks of bad loot. It is very possible da3 mp chest is using a bad rng given how little thought went into the mp. If you look at a post i made a few days ago you will see two pics depicting the distribution of two different rng algorithms.
Getting streaks of good/bad luck doesn't mean the RNG is broken. In fact, such things are to be expected with any reasonably good RNG. PRNGs get blamed all the time for a myriad of problems (yet they're practically never the real culprit in this day and age), because usually people don't understand them - or the concept of randomness in general.
Also, if you want to argue using some post you've made in the past, you should at least provide the link...

I was writing from my smartphone so I didn't want to go through all of that.
And you are wrong about RNG. It is still common belief by many players that they should open a box, if lucky, open in a streak, and if not lucky, avoid opening for some time. Although many games might not have bugged RNG, it is quite possible for pgraommers to not give a f*** enough to do it right.

With Dragonracer's hint I am now able to spot the pooping goat, too. It's opposite the Nug.
