Hey there mates.
As you might know,
You can really do this dragon if you are low level.
He is for me a level 12 fire dragon, but i can do it now my my player char (warrior) is level 9, and my party is fully level 8.
Here is how:
Make sure to have a mage in your party with a frost or cold damage staff. I use a purple cold staff.
Then pick your player char, and mount your horse at its nearest camp.
If you dont know where the dragon is, go south from redcliffe to a camp, and then through the caves untill you meet mini dragons called drakelings or whatsoever.
Before you do the next step be sure to set the AI thing off when you are in the player character screen, and then behaviours. Its at the top. This is very important since if you dont do that, then your party go downstairs in the following step, and the dragon put up a tornado attack that makes your attacker go down.
So start at the camp tho and mount your horse,
Race all the way through the arena like area where you fight the dragon.
To the north you see a rock wall which you can CLIMB by following the 2-3 hairpin curves up.
Then switch to your mage who shall have the cold/frost staff.
Then walk towards the edge toward the dragon. Fire your staff and make sure you see the sparklings hit the dragon.
There could be no damage shown if the dragon is too far away, so fire 25 hits or so with your staff and see if the dragon's health bar drains.
There are several spots near the edge of the rocks where you can stand, and where you dont get hit by the fireballs the dragon spits at you.
It takes very long, but i got my dragon down after 20-25 mins of firing the dragon with my mage.
If you get hit, then take a potion. If your low on potions after some time, then time it all well, and run back to camp to re supply. When you get back, the dragon should not have a full health bar back if you've done some damage.
Let me know if this have worked for you.
Cheers, Mara
