I was kind of hoping for Oghren, to be honest :3 He's a Warden and he was never killed off so I thought he'd be the best choice. Also, I really wanted to see him interact with the DAI team. Bethany and Carver would've been good choices as well.

Hawke will never allow his/her sibling to stay imo. Of course there is this horrible horrible mage-hating and crazy Hawke who kill Bethany just because she is a mage but i think and hope only 0.01% of the population choose that for their first ever playthrough. it will be bad storytelling if they let this option happen.
HoF and Hawke will make this choice very very significant (and better storytelling) but I think people will riot if they do that because they are forced to kill one of the main PC they have been playing with for the last few years.
Hawke and Alistair is a difficult choice. very very difficult. but not as emotional as the one above.
Hawke and Loghain is not because Loghain is old and going for his calling anyway.
Hawke and Stoud is insignificant because unless u really hate Hawke, u will not choose this minor character over him/her.

I chose Stroud over Hawke and i don´t hate her. I think the story works better if Hawke dies: she should have stayed to fight Corypheus ... but she leave, even if you exile the wardens. Also, if bioware gives your PC a chance at a heroic death, you better take it. You don´t want your PC to fade into obscurity and do stuff your PC would hate.

This is the main problem I have with this idea, if the choice remained set up as it is now. Currently, literally all that happens is the Inquisitor says their name sadly and they're like "lul it's ok, CHAAAAARGE" as the other two escape. That might fly between two people who are comrades more than they are friends, but there's just no way any of the Hawke kids would simply run off with the Quizzy while their sibling stays and fights a giant freakin spider to the death.
If they made the choice more dire--say, the spider had injured both parties and you could only drag one of them out while the other used their remaining strength to stall--it would be believable. And it would have been an interesting narrative perspective to be sure. I'm not sure who I'd sacrifice... it'd depend on seeing how their relationship fared throughout the Fade. But I'm leaning towards Hawke either way.
Between Hawke and HoF, Alistair, or Loghain, I choose any of the Wardens. It's not that I want them to die, but their stories are mostly done (assuming the HoF is there because they're not doing the whole Calling thing). Hawke and his/her companions have more presence in the DA world now, some relevance to the overarching story, so they still have some room to grow. I wouldn't want to see that taken away by clinging to old favorites.
