Anyone know what happens if we pick Josephine, Leliana, or Cullen? Cullen seems the most obvious choice, but Leliana is more appealing because we can investigate the eluvians. Does anyone know the benefits of picking which advisors?

I picked Leliana - not much came of it afterwards.

I totally missed that one. How did you guys get that?
I read a codex with Michel's name being mentioned in Empress du Lion, but nothing else about Michel.

I met him at Emprise whatever and killed Imshael, then walked backed to Michel and recruited him into the Inquisition.

just recruited him curious about possible outcomes. I'm leaning Cullen right now. IS there a noticeable difference with whoever you pick?

I only picked Cullen for this war table, but I guess that the diffence will be in the text only, and whether Celene is alive or not (in my game she was dead).

I think that Michel becomes a agent for the person you choose in assigning him but I could be wrong. Apart from that, he doesn't do much apart from walking around Skyhold and that reconciliation/regaining honor mission that I never got for some reason.

I picked Cullen. Michel killed, like, three dudes in a row armed only with a towel. That's the kind of man I want training my troops. :S

Gaspard is the only true Emperor and giving him that which is rightfully his will culminate in the honor of the badass known as Ser Michel being restored.

It glitched for me, I think. ![]()
I was just exploring, and came across Imshael's little horror show before I met Michel. I think I confused the game. There's no option to recruit him. Make sure to avoid that, anyone who hasn't gotten there yet.

You have to have the world's most epic handshake with him first. Then you kill Imshael and badassery ensues when he joins the Inquisition.

It depends. When he becomes an agent, Michel will provide advice about the Orlesian court to Josephine, intel about the Orlesian Eluvians to Leliana, or help train soldiers for Cullen. If Celene is alive, she's willing to reconcile with Michel, but only covertly. Cullen will accept it, while Leliana will challenge Celene to make it public (which she doesn't); both provide financial rewards. If Gaspard is alive, he offers to reinstate Michel as a chevalier; Josephine immediately accepts it, Leliana recognizes that Gaspard wants to take advantage of this to either gain Michel or use him as a spy if the Inquisition refuses his offer (which is why Leliana wants to use Michel to feed Gaspard bad intel), and Cullen wants to keep Michel.

Michel tells Leliana and Solas all he knows about the Eluvians if you pick Lel. Josie sends him to Lydes to be a counselor to some noble lady.
Pick anyone you want it doesn't matter.

Funny how that Leliana's option and the codex about the Eluvians are the only mentions of Briala's eluvians in the entire game. Some asset they turned to be.

Yeah, I find it really unfortunate that the Orlesian Eluvians weren't incorporated into the storyline.
