There is something I dont understand about the "issue" with people complaining that there are only two romances for straight male players. Every companion character is available to the player regardless of RL sexual orientation.
Example:
I am a straight male IRL.
If I play a male character romancing Cassandra OR if I am a female character romancing Cullen - does not change the fact that I am straight IRL. It is called roleplaying, If I play a straight female character romancing Cullen, or If I am a lesbian female character romancing Sera - still does not change anything.
What character you roleplay is not (or rather should not) be affected by RL sexual orientation right? So yeah, I am confused why the complaint from people are there. The bottom line is - all romancable characters in the game can be romanced regardless of real life orientation.
So why is this such a big issue for so many? Are people unable to roleplay? Are people unable to do anything OTHER than projecting their own RL self into the character they are playing?
Again with an example. Blackwall and Sera is romancable by straight male gamers roleplaying a human female character. I really dont see the limitation here. I'm not sure if I understand the mentality of such complaints (seeing they are so strong and verbal about it).
Anyone care to enlighten me on this?
About the "only 2 romance for straight male gamers". Something I dont understand (not a complaint)
