The armour is really, really disapointing. I have absolutely no doubt we'll see a 'schematic store' for real money soon enough, since there is plenty of unique looking armour in the game on NPCs / companions / multiplayer characters that is just none existent in the single player game.

I am impressed with weapons and shields, though. Managed to get a really nice looking, white bow (it's brighter in game than in the dark inventory light). Tier 3 schematic, and I've enchanted it with a frost rune so it glows blue when used. So here is my contribution to the fashion thread! I've called it the 'Swansong':

Could somebody tell me, where you can find those shoulder/arm upgrades?

I know that it's the battlemage coat arms but i don't know where to get them.

Can you buy them somewhere or are they a random drop?

You sound like there is so much customization options...like in Guild Wars 2 or at least Diablo 3... :)

I've tried almost all or even all options with my Qunari (because we can use only customizable armor)...and descent looking ones is Trench Coat(full set) and Battlemaster(full set) with other pieces they look pretty bad though and it's a problem to choose a proper color, because of stats which I don't need and because there is some parts like pants\shirt which can't be dyed even with Fade-touched mats:

1) Trench Coat:

Spoiler

Where did you find the shoulder parts? I have been searching forever for that Armour D: *im assuming its the armour from the qunari demo*

Dragon Hinerval(Emprise Du Lion) drops Battlemaster armor, so I've simply removed Arm piece from it...if you're a mage you can slay another dragons(~23lvl) in Emprise Du Lion, one of them will drop armor like in Qunari demo...exactly the same(though colors are different).

The shear variation in good looking armor in this game is pretty dissapointing... The heroes you have in your party have more better looking armor than you! Whats up with that?

How did you get those shoulderpads/arms on a rogue? I ask because this is exactly what I am trying to currently achieve on my dwarven rogue and all Im finding is the standard leather nonsense, my dwarf would have more metal on him.

They're either the T3 battlemaster mail or prowler mail arm schematic. I got the schematic as a random drop :). They give really nice stats when crafted, too!

You are a genius. Without you, I would have never have gotten the armor and weapon that I have!

So basically starter gear is the same as end game gear appearance wise ? And sorry, different patterns of textiles or some pauldrons don't count for me as different(I've nothing against anyone who does). If that's true it's a little bit disappointing for me ...

This is mainly true for non-human Inquisitors. There are a number of different armors that can only be worn by humans, like Templar armor and stuff like that.

Anyway, here is my Shrekquisitor's invincibility cloak:

I have a hunch this will eventually turn into a boasting match on who's got the best armor.

Seems people really like this style...

Superior Vanguard Armor made from Dragon Bone, Great Bear Hide and... something else, I can't quite recall. Stormheart, maybe?

And that's an Axe of the Dragon Hunter for the main weapon - quite a nice piece of work, thanks to Bonny Sims.

I'm using the Rogue Prowler variant for my mage since the pants and boots look better for women than the mage and warrior options.

Wait how are you using a rogue schematic on a mage?

There is a materials(Snoufleur Skin for Med. Armor) which will remove Class Restrictions , but only if you use such materials in the main slot when crafting.
