I frickin love the warden battlemage armor...

I'm beating the game in this armor. I don't care if my stats are crap. I'm a mage! I'll just snipe from the sidelines. ![]()

It's a damn shame there is no higher level schematic for this set of armor and a version that makes the front more beefy via how battlemage armor does!
Overall I am just rocking the sturdy battle mage armor....only one I kind of like next to the coat....the variety/choice of armor for this game is extremely disappointing, hopefully people are able to make progress on the modding end and bring us lots of variety!

I think you can Buy Warden Armor Schematics from the Dalish Vendor in Exalted Plains.. Maybe it's just the Warrior/Scout armors.. Hrm.

Its even less choice if you are not human. I have a recipe for orlesian battlemage armor and went to make it, only to learn it was human-only. Would be NICE if the recipes mentioned any race restrictions, so you didn't waste good material on armor you think you can equip. ![]()
Still...damn I'm in love with this armor. ![]()

Dear Andraste and all the Dalish elven gods, PLEASE!!!
I WANT A RECIPE FOR THIS ARMOR!

Is there a trick on knowing which schematics have arms/legs slots too?

If they're generic armours (ie vanguard coat, adventurer coat, not named after something in DA:I) and not specific armours (Wardern, Templar, Legion of the Dead) then they have arm/leg slots.
BM Mail set!

Here are my inquisitors:
which set are you wearing for your first? That looks great!

The look my first inquisitor rocked for the end of the game, I loved the combo of the dales loden wool and the royale sea silk, it looked so snazzy, and the great bear hide that I used for everything after I found it, hah. I used all the variations of this armour throughout the game, I just loved it so much. Most of the time I used ring velvet instead of royale sea silk, though. As it was easier to find.

Yeah, right, completely different, sure...
...you know how it works in this case? 3d artist creates one armor model in 3ds max + ZBrush, then he start to cut\remove some pieces from it, that's how we get Tier 1-3 armor which looks the same with just a small difference like pants...but pants\shirt model is the same too just a bit different texture...shirt and pants actually is from our glorious Pajama...battlemaster and Battlemage have exactly the same shirts, but Prowler have Chainmail instead of Shirt, which is weird btw, because Heavy armor should have chainmail instead of pajamas, not Medium.
In AAA games Tier 1-3 use a COMPLETELY different models, plus such games have a wide variety of other different armor models to wear..it really looks like Bioware released DA:I earlier than they planned, that's why they used T3 armor for T1-2 for each class, but if not...well, they should be ashamed.
The models for the armor are extremely high quality and detailed. I'd rather have quality over quantity any day. They chose to put a lot of time into some armor sets rather then put almost no time in tons of armor sets. The armor looks amazing down to every texture and detail.

I would agree with this if it wasn't obvious that they actually have made a lot of different armour models. NPCs & companions are all running around with distinct and highly detailed different armour sets, so they're in the game. I would have loved an Orlesian assassin set for my rogue, for example, and have had many enemies attempt to kill me while wearing it ^^.

Except that Qunari have no armors.

I believe that's where I got my Warden armour yes...which together with the helmet looks AWESOME on my two-hander femquiz. ![]()

Unfortunately, it's the legion of dead armor. Therefore, only dwarf has access to it.

i love this armor (militian armor)

Are there any shoulders attachments for light armor that look different from this variation? I Remember seeing an attachment that made it look like the shoulders that the inquisitor on the cover art was wearing.
