Can I make the Inquisition Scout/Mage/Warrior armor that I can buy from Seggrit the vendor in Haven?
After over 100 hrs of gameplay and many times of schematic farming I did not find any of these. I think they were supposed to be in game but for some reason some schematics simply don't drop.
So far the Battlemage Armor with Enchanter Armor arms and Battlemage Coat legs is my favorite set for my mage:
(I did make some concessions for vanity - I used Highever Weave in the main slot when I realized it changes the color of the palm of the gauntlets)
I actually prefer the lower-stat version of the Battlemage Armor (where you can see the undershirt) but the stats are so low it's non-viable at higher levels

I plan on making a more advanced version of this, once I kill one more dragon. Thinking of going for a similar color scheme, with a higher armor rating and calling it "Mythal's Blessing".

Where exactly do you get the schematics for the battlemaster coat and mail at? All i've found is the Armor variant the hissing wastes merchant.
I farmed sulevin for longer than I care to admit. Though there is now a faster farming method apparently by farming the warden stronghold.. cave.. thing.. just before you get to the codex that gets you to sulevin.

in fact only Dorian has the helmet of the Inquisitor (I think this is the name of this schematic) maxed out (to 29), I just did the others for the need of the picture.
I'm still sad we can't wear the Ferelden style armor for ourselves :c

Let’s start off with a group shot:
(Viv is not in the picture because the goddess decided she would rather stand on top of the tent).
We have Varric wearing superior prowler garb hand crafted out of dragon bone and silk. His outfit is called “Left Hand of the Party” and its complete with a Superior Inquisitor Hat, called “My Buddy’s Hat”
And of course, no picture of Varric is complete without
BIANCA who baby looks beautiful. Made of a beautiful blend of Veridium, Drakestone, and a touch of Obsidan complete with Bianca’s special formula and a corrupting rune. Isn’t she gorgeous?
Next on our list is perhaps our most disappointing show. We expected better of you, Dorian!
Dorian is wearing hand-crafted Superior Battlemage Armor, but our judges are disappointed in the lack of variety. It looks too similar to his default outfit to be a real contender! His mask, too, is the Mask of the Grand Duke—a gift from Emperor Gaspard.

oooh, look at that armor! The Superior Battlemaster Armor here is made out of dragon bone, lusterous cotton, and a bit of August Ram Leather for some color! If he’d had this armor before meeting the Empress, perhaps he might’ve been named Belle of the Ball!
BUT WAIT
A good fashionista knows that the key to any outfit is accessories, and here we have the crown jewel: a Masterwork Serrated Greatsword with a custom Masterwork Jeweled Grip! Made of volcanic aurum and the last bits of dragon bone, this weapon shines gold when in use, and the Master Corrupting Rune really makes it pop! Excellent showing, Inquisitor!

wow, that’s an outfit fit for a Queen! Look at Vivienne slaying her competition in this fully upgraded Superior Battlemage Armor! Ring Velvet, Royale Sea Silk, and a touch of Obsidian are what complete this masterful look, fitting for the next Divine!

I'm honestly disappointed with the armor variety. The weapon variety has me smiling ear-to-ear, but those armors... ugh. They don't even feel that different between classes. What the hell happened?
Maybe by the time I can upgrade my PC to run the game [currently on console] the modding community will have blossomed into all its usual glory. Though would be nice if Bioware released a DLC with some better tier 3 schematics or something. I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Yeah lke a shitload of schematics, Something happened. I expected the gae to let me take apart pieces from any piece of armor or weapon and re assemble them in other ways (of course with pehaps a couple retrictions cross clasenhancing belt and it wass) I watched the 40 ,onute commentary and the guy was talking about how if you see an armor that is better than all the ones ypu got but don't like its color or style that you could, with the right materials, make detailed customizations like changing buttons collot and shape, nd mentioned tailoring etc. I should be able to equip my torso, my hands/forearms my pants and my boots and helmet separately or customize my own vesions of diferent armors.
Also why do games these days seem to exist in a world of convienient magnetism where swords, bows, and daggers just stick to your back or right along side the hip. WHy not render some sheaths and straps because that would sure be cool, especially if I could choose to have my daggers pointing in opposite directions but in sheathes horizontal on my lower back. Also it would be tight if we could actually see medallions and different belts. Small details make difference, Like what if you found a set of cross belts looking like an old western gunslingers but for your daggers that enhance attack speed and

so you CAN use some mage armor as a rogue as long as its not anything more than a pair of guantets or a hood/cowl?

There aren't many good looking armors in the game....Not a single good looking armor for female character except Elf High Keeper robe..imo..Really disappointed with Bioware...They went lazy with armors nd all..
This problem can easily be fixed if they release mod tools for modders, and let them create some awesome weapons and armors for all races.
I was playing Skyrim few days ago and that game has over 20 unique looking armors plus you can create more by crafting plus 100 more thanks to amazing modding community
Companion armors are so cool looking, especially Vivene but it looks completely different on your character :| These BS armor restrictions (or i should laziness from Bioware) are so annoying..It really pisses me off....Iam the main hero, I should get the best stuff but no all cool looking stuff is for companions....

indeed, it's pretty sad.
I get one even more tricky : I bought the schematic for Dalish Armor (Hissing Merchant : 9k gold) , just to find out that only elf-trained can equip with this armor.
I wanted Sera to have this armor but apparently Sera is not enough elf
So now i have a schematic that I will not use at all (I'm playing as human and I don't care of Solas)
Somehow i can only blame myself because this issue was in a thread since few days/weeks now .. I should have paid more attention

I wore the red version of this for as long as I could. I liked having something that was the same but also made the Inquisitor stand out.
