Wow. That's like the only real reason to support anyone but Celene for me.
Thanks.

@Gathiel
You can use silverite on the templar armor and wear it on your mage, tho ofc the armor changes its style to the mage version.
Dont have any personally pics at hand, but found this on reddit:

That's a shame. I hate this system Bioware developed for modding armour appearence based on class. Would it really have been that big a deal to have a mage wearing plate?
Still, we still have the Warden Battlemage robes

I think only certain armors look different on Mage.
The usual heavy armors you craft look exactly the same, from what i understand.
Does battlemaster armor look the same on Warrior and Mage, if used with silverite on Mage?
Especially the bulky kneecaps, gotta look important after all.

Here's the new outfit for my main Inquisitor.
Armor:
Schematic: Battlemage Armor (the one with one each of metal, leather and cloth in the secondary slots), Battlemage Coat arms and legs. This is one of the few schematics where every secondary slot has a visible effect.
Materials:
Main Slot: Royal Sea Silk
Secondary Cloth slot: Imperial Vestment Cotton
Secondary Metal slot: Dragon Bone
Secondary Leather slot: Dragon Scales
Headgear:
Cowl of the Overseer (standard version)

Guys where do you change the colour of your armor? I know it's supposed to a masterwork yeah? But I've never seen the option. And, seriously, running around in fluorescent orange dragon scales makes me want to kill myself so I don't even wanna contemplate what it does to Viv and Dorian.

As far as I'm aware of, colors are 100% material-dependent. Dragon Webbing is orange, Dragon Scales are white. Period. If you want colors not available from tier 3 materials, you need to compromise: either the look you want or the stats you want, but not both.

You can use the masterwork slot on a schematic to override the color of one of the materials you're using. What gets overridden varies depending on the schematic - as an example, if you use a Fade-touched cloth in the masterwork slot of the Dalish Scout armor schematic, rather than overriding the cloth color you chose for the body of the armor, it affects the color of the scarf (which otherwise would be a neutral beige)Guys where do you change the colour of your armor? To override Dragon Bone, you'd probably have to use a Fade-touched metal in the masterwork slot. Fade-touched Silverite gives a nice bonus of 5 guard per hit you make.

Interesting. I didn't know that. Can you change the color of the pants? They've always been this neutral grey-brown in my outfits (see image I posted above).

Here's pretty much the end game outfit for my human female DW Rogue Assassin. On the one hand, I wanted as good armor as possible and on the other hand I wanted it to look good at the same time, so this is something in between. I like the green/gold color scheme and I also have a thing for the masks in the game so I wanted the colors to match:

My first Inquisitors final armor, I am very happy with how it looked ![]()

I am also very happy about Dorians final look in my first playthroug ![]()
Will not post any pictures of my current Inquisitor though...her armor looks like crap, I am desperately trying to get the canyon merchant to update his stock so I can finally get the superior battlemaster armor.

I'm not sure and I can't replicate it as I don't have enough materials. The headgear is Curse of Morrac. The armor is T3 Prowler Armor and I think it's Varghast Scales. Arms are T3 Prowler Armor Arms and I think it might be Wyvern Scales. Legs (not shown in the pic) are T3 Scout Coat Legs - not sure which material that makes them green. It's annoying that the amount of save files is limited - otherwise I could simply load up the save made just before crafting it and check.

Still pretty early in the game but one of the three bear claws that I got in the Hinterlands yielded the +10 to stats. WooHooo.
Also, at least with the mage schematics, the black and white recolor of the skyhold pjs that you can get on the nexus, also changes the pants of the armors to black.
although, it does rather call attention to her crotch area with the white chevron pattern

I wonder if it would be possible to put the texture of the cloth materials on the pajamas? Like, Silk on the top and Darkened Samite on the bottom? Also, at least with the mage schematics, the black and white recolor of the skyhold pjs that you can get on the nexus, also changes the pants of the armors to black.

What armor is this?
Mage Coat variant for Vivienne I believe with Royal Sea Silk, he always looks good on her if you find it. Royal Sea Silk is notoriously hard to get off enemies

I'm really happy with these... (please ignore the bloodstains)

Bull and Blackwall came out kinda golden...

And my favorite helmet...

...too bad the color of the feathers is really dull.

My Knight Enchanter with his 3 sets of black armor (all have same stats). All are end-game tier 3 Superb Battlemage. I used Cheat Engine to swap apprearance of Warrior heavy and Light Coat to normal Superb Battlemage to have 3 different sets.
Also all helmets are Mask of Duchess you gain after Winter Palace. I just swaped apprearance with other helmets to look good in this game.
Also my sword-staff. I love this sword-like middle part
.
Enjoy:
Heavy KE armor (Inqusitor Helmet):
Spoiler
The armour is really, really disapointing. I have absolutely no doubt we'll see a 'schematic store' for real money soon enough, since there is plenty of unique looking armour in the game on NPCs / companions / multiplayer characters that is just none existent in the single player game.
I am impressed with weapons and shields, though. Managed to get a really nice looking, white bow (it's brighter in game than in the dark inventory light). Tier 3 schematic, and I've enchanted it with a frost rune so it glows blue when used. So here is my contribution to the fashion thread! I've called it the 'Swansong':
I like the arms you both have. May I ask what it is? Trying to get some for my mage.
