She immediately gave it to Cassandra because she knows it's what I would have wanted. :D

On a personal note, my heart grew three sizes when I saw this. I feel ridiculously awesome right now*.

* Of course, Caliban is a character from Shakespeare and the name has made its way into a number of different books and games. But let's not talk about that. <.<

I knew about this sword, and I thought why would anyone make a thread about this .... then I saw your name, and yeah. Must feel real awesome. :D

How do you think I feel every time somebody curses by my knicker-weasels?

(The prophet's name has nothing to do with me, mind you, but I have been using it since before she was invented.)

That's a nice sword. Do want!

I suppose the name could be a coincidence, but after glancing at your post count, I rather doubt that  :P  Be proud, imo :)

A shield named "Maria" would go nicely with that, no?

When I first saw this I thought of "Caliburn" which is another name for Excalibur. Are you sure it's not Excalibur?

Would have been extra cool if it were a staff with lightning damage.
Tempest, and all that...

Caliban is probably most famously known from Shakespeare's "The Tempest"

Honestly though -- and let's be honest -- Maria Caliban predates Shakespeare and is cooler than a Tempest any day. This one's definitely a nod to you, TC. :P

I think it's telling of my knowledge of Shakespeare that I took it for granted this sword was a nod to Maria Caliban when I first stumbled upon it yesterday.

It's pretty cool =)
