Is there a bug with Solas' quest? I never got the third quest and looking at my completed quest, his fade friend quest is not listed. I had the covnersation with Solas after the second quest thanking me for not letting me kill the mages. But it's not in my completed list

Apparently you need to activate ten of the elven artifact/orbs - although there's supposedly a bug with that as well. I wouldn't know. I can't find any of the damn things.

Those devices are all over the place. There's one in a tower in Windwatch in the Hinterlands for example as well as one in a farm house @Redcliffe Farms. If Solas is in your party and you have done the initial elven artifact quest for him, he will speak up each time you get near another one. Eventually you will have activated enough of them that you don't even need him with you because you will recognize the device for what it is and just click to activate it ...as for him giving you another quest after activating so many of them that I cannot confirm. I know I've activated at least a dozen so far but each time I talk to him in Skyhold he gives me no new chat options. And this is on top of doing his other companion quest in the Exalted Plains to rescue/release his spirit friend (which you get after doing his artifact quest)
