Why do it the hard way and have to play an unpatched game? CE is your friend, lets you get what you want easily if you aren't farming til the dathrasi come home because it's play through 5, 6, 7 or beyond for you.

Even if you're on PC, there's no guarantee you'll be able to use it. People who have already installed the latest patch seem to be getting a lot of CTDs with the Cheat Engine. I know that a lot of people are able to use it just fine, but I don't seem to be one of them. About all you can do is back up your saves, install it, and be prepared to restore your saves if it turns out that the CE won't work on your system.
